Holiday Gift Tags

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is Thrifty Thursday over on the My Creative Time blog. Todays project is a set of 8 holiday gift tags. So being that it's "Thrifty Thursday" I used left over pieces of paper from my last two projects! I had just enough to make 8 tags!  

I used the large label shape die in the Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies & More set for the tag. and the new tree die from the Seasonal Greetings Stamps and Dies set. I attached the tree's to the tag's, with a bit of foam tape and then stamped the backs with the "to" & "from" from the Just Tags Stamp & Die Set. 

Super easy and cute gift, right!?!

Candy & Friends Treat

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is my dt day on the Timeless Twine Blog. I made a quick and easy Halloween treat with a few things from the Bella Creationz store.

I used one of the Small Brown Kraft Bags and randomly stamped the front with a decorative stamp. Then I filled the bag with a few pieces of candy and tied it shut with some Orange Licorice twine. I used one of the orange tags from the Halloween Mini Kit, stamped a sentiment on the front, and attached it to the twine. Really quick and easy and ready to left on someones desk or door step!

MCT 37th Release Sneaks - Day 4

Happy Thursday!

WooHoo! It's the 4th day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking the new stamp & die set called Oh Deer and the mini freebie stamp set called Christmas Doggie.

This card was made with one of the sentiments and the santa hat from the new Christmas Doggie set. The santa hat fits perfectly on the dog die in the Loyal Friends Stamp Set. So cute!

My second project is a tag made with the new Oh Deer set. I used one of the deer dies, from the new set, and the stamped word "Joy" is also from that set.

Football Treats

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is Make a Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I found some fun football themed M&M's at Target a couple weeks ago. I  grabbed a bag, thinking it would be fun to make some treats for the guy's game day get together. I decided to pick out all the gold and blue M&M's because we're Charger fans. 

I stamped a piece of Kraft paper, randomly, with the football stamp from the Touchdown Stamp Set. Then I used the tag die from the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies and cut out the tags. The "I Love" sentiment came from the Sports Sentiments Stamp Set. Lastly, I tied the tags on with some gold & yellow twine.

Happy Halloween Tag

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is not only Tag it Tuesday on the MCT blog, but it's also my DT day over on the Timeless Twine Blog. Since I was short on time, I combined my projects into one project this week. We also had a color challenge on the MCT blog and needed to use, orange, yellow, grey, green, and red. That's why my spider is red! Ha!

I made a quick Halloween tag with the Tag Dies and new Tag Die Layers. The web and spider are both from the Wicked Fun Dies and I cut the circle with the second smallest circle in the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies. I added the fun embellishments from Timeless Twines new  Halloween Mini Kit and some of the new Solid Black and Solid Orange twine.

Today is Inspiration Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I found this card on Pinterest and it gave me the idea for my card.

I used the new  Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More and the All You Need Is Coffee Stamp Set. I also used the Alpha Pack Stamp Set, to make the "love you a" sentiment.

I have also had some requests for a tutorial video showing how to emboss with the MCT metal dies, so I made a video showing how.

  I have the Big Shot Accessory Pad, from Stampin Up!, you could also use the Sizzix Silicone Rubber Mat or a similar mat, to get the emboss. You can find the Post-It Tape here.

World Card making Day & Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Happy Saturday!!!

Today is World Card Making Day and the month of October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I thought I would kill two birds with one stone and make a BCA card. It's a shaker card, because shaker cards are always more fun.

I stamped the top layer/Regal Rose paper randomly with the small ribbon stamp from the Race for a Cure Stamp Set. I used VersaMark ink and clear embossing powder. I used both the large and medium rectangles from the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More set, the 4th circle in the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies, and the Stay Focused Stamp for the sentiment. The twine is Timeless Twine's Bubble Gum Pink and the sequins is the fun new Clearly Beautiful Loose Mixed Sequins mix.
