Happy Monday!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday on the My Creative Time blog. I made a quick page with some photo's that my brother and SIL had taken of the boys last week. Aren't they sweet!?!

I think I prefer the Simple Stories 6x8 pages over Project Life's 12x12 pages. I will still probably use the 12x12 ones, but I am finding more and more that I am favoring the smaller ones.

When I saw this cute flip flop svg, I'm a flip flop fan, I knew I wanted to make a card with them! I hadn't used my stitched "captured" frame yet and I thought it would be fun to try using it on the front of a card.  I love how it turned out.

I sized my kitty to 3.75" wide. I created a .1600 shadow layer around her and then welded two of them together at the top, to form the base of the card.

Spring Ball Treats

Happy Wednesday!

Today is 3-d Wednesday on the My Creative Time Blog. 
I made some fun Spring Ball treats.

The 3x3 Trifold Card die fits perfectly around the sunflower seeds packet. I just secured it with some glue, wrapped the twine around it, attached the tag, and tied the twine in a bow. Super easy to make and they make great treats to hand out before the game!

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? The weather here in So Cal was beautiful. I ended up spending most of my weekend inside, trying to get things done, but I was able to spend some time outside yesterday afternoon.

I have another kitty freebie for you today.

When I saw this little bee, she reminded me of spring. All of the flowers in my yard are coming back to life and the bee's, they are a buzz'n. The love bugs (aka lady bugs) are back as well.
