Guinness Please!

Happy Tuesday!

I have a fun St. Patty's Day card for you today.
The beer stein is from the new Lettering Delights, Luck of the Irish svg set. I used the shadow feature in Make-the-Cut to create a base around the stein. Then welded two of the shadows together to form the base of the card and my Ecraft to cut everything out.
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, Coredinations.

See you back here tomorrow!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Kaely!

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? It was beautiful here is southern CA.  I was able to get some yard work completed, some cleaning done, and was able to work on some blog projects for this week.

Seems like there are a ton of birthday's this month. Do you have month's like that too? August is another crazy birthday month for me.

My little Zachary and I go to the park a couple mornings each week. Not only does it get us out of the house, but he's able to run and play and get all that 2yr old energy out. We have made a lot of friends, but his favorite friends are a set of twins that are about a week or so older then him. He gets so excited when he sees them coming. It's so cute! Anyway, their 2nd birthday is this week and so, of course, I have to make them each a card.

Today's card is for Kaely.

The bear cupcake is from Lettering Delights, Nancy's Party svg set. I used a couple basic shapes from the Make-the-Cut library to form the base of the card and my Ecraft to cut everything out.
I used Jaded Blossom's flag dies and the Miscellaneous Fun stamp set. Both are new releases for the month of March.
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, Coredinations, and K and Company's Confetti stack.

See you back here tomorrow!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Jaded Blossom's Monthly Challenge!

Happy Sunday!

Today is the start of a brand new challenge on the Jaded Blossom blog!

This months challenge is to create a card/project where the color green is one of the main colors used. It does not have to be St Patty day themed.
So every year I say I am going to try a Shamrock Shake , but I never do. I thought it was about time I get one. Can you say Yum! I just might have to get another one before St. Patrick's Day.
I used one of the new black & white straws,  banner flag dies, the Eat and Drink stamp set, and the Luck of the Irish stamp set.

For more information, inspiration, and about the challenge, click here!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

Happy Friday!

If you are looking for Jaded Blossom's New release blog hop, click here.

Did you know that today is Dr. Seuss's birthday? Well, just in case you didn't, I thought I would fill you in!

Theodor Geisel, AKA Dr. Seuss, was a long time resident of La Jolla, CA (San Diego, CA). He is perhaps the 20th century's most famous author for children, Dr. Seuss wrote and illustrated nearly 50 books during his lifetime. His books were famous for their funny rhymes and whimsical characters, several of which were named after prominent San Diego residents. I never met him personally, but I do know people who knew him. One of my high school teachers use to tell us stories, about serving Dr. Seuss breakfast each morning. He was a waiter at a restaurant in La Jolla, when he was in college, and Dr. Seuss ate there everyday.

I thought, in honor on Dr. Seuss, that I would make a Birthday card!
I LOVE the Cat in the Hat! I just couldn't resist this Cat and Friends svg set from Treasure Box Designs, when I saw it!
I made a free standing pop-up card. A written tutorial showing how to make the card is here and I also made a video, showing how to make it, you can view it here.
I used papers from Heidi Grace, DCWV, and Paper Trey Ink.

Don't you love this little fish!?! His smile is from Peachy Keen Stamps set, PK-486 In Stitches Face Assortment.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's set called Polka Dot "SURPRISE".

I'm off now to read my little Zachary some Dr. Seuss books!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Guess what? It took minutes.. yes just minutes to make!
I used the new light blue paper straws, both flag dies and a stamp from the new "Food and Drink" stamp set. The heart is from the "Valentine Treats" stamp set.

Yoda One for me!

Happy Thursday!

Guess what?
It's not only Jaded Blossom's new release blog hop day, but in two day's it will be the weekend! I am sooo ready.

I made these cards a couple of weeks ago and never got around to posting them. I used the same svg cut, but different sayings on each card. I kept them simple, because they have a more masculine feel.
The sentiment on this one was printed on my printer.
The Yoda svg is from Little Scraps of Heaven's, "The Master" file. I used Make-the-Cut to size him and my Ecraft to cut him out. The Kraft colored twine is from The Twinery.

This next card I added a little stitching around the edge of the card and a sentiment from Jaded Blossom's "Nerd" stamp set.

I think they turned out cute and they are just perfect for those "geeky" loved one's in my life.

Also...

Don't forget that today at 4pm (PST) is the Jaded Blossom Stamp release blog hop!

All the fun starts at Jaded Blossom's blog at 4pm!

Happy Wednesday!

I have a quick card for you today. In-fact you may have even seen it before because it was posted by accident last week. LOL Today's post has a little more info then last weeks.

So... let's try this again shall we?
My sweet little lamb is from Treasure Box Designs. I used Make-the-Cut to size her and I cut everything out with my Ecraft. The egg's and their shadows are dies from My Creative Time. They come with the "Hello Spring" stamp set.
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, Coredinations, and the We R Memory Keepers, Cotton Tail collection. The ribbon is from Micheal's.
This stamp is from My Creative Time's stamp set called Happy Hunting stamp set.
Here's one more close-up of the sweet little lamb.

Bunny Poop?

Happy Tuesday!

Have you seen Jaded Blossom's stamps yet? If you have, you know that with each release, there is some sort of "poop" stamp. Today's project is made with one of those stamps.

I made a "Bunny Poop" wand.

I just LOVE the seasonal colored M&M's... don't you? They fit perfectly in these cute wands. Have you seen these wands before? Jaded Blossom carries them in their store! They are really fun and perfect for party favors!
The flag that the poem is stamped on, just happens to be a sneak of one of  JB's March releases!
The egg and sentiment stamp are both from the "Bunny Poop" stamp set.

The  girls at Jaded Blossom were so excited about this months release, that they decided to have a "mini" release this Thursday!
I can't wait to show you my project!

See you back here tomorrow!

Candace's Surprise Birthday Bash!

 Happy Sunday!

Happy Birthday Candace!!!!

Welcome to Candace's Surprise Birthday Bash! If you have arrived from  Raven's super fabulous blog, then you are on the right track! If you would like to start at the beginning,  click here.

I made Candace a card.
She loves Hello Kitty, who doesn't, right?

The inside of the card say's "It's your Birthday... It's your Birthday!"
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, Coredinations, and Echo Park's This & That Collection. I made the base of the card in Make-the-Cut with a stamp shape that I found in the "free" gallery. The Hello Kitty face is from a free online coloring book, that I found. Again, I used Make-the-Cut to convert her into a cut-able file. Who needs a $140 Hello Kitty Circut cart, when you have MTC? I cut everything out with my Ecraft.
Shhhh.... Don't tell Michelle or Candace, but this is a "sneak" peak of two of Jaded Blossom's new release's for the month of March! I can't wait to show you more sneaks next week!

So how about a give-away?

One lucky winner will receive a Stampin Up! stamp set, 100 stick bags, and a Jaded Blossom Petal stamp set.

Just make sure that you:

Happy Birthday Cynthia!

Happy Tuesday and Happy Mardi Gras!

To be completely honest, yesterday was actually Cynthia's birthday but I didn't get my post up in time. So my post and present is a day late, but hey, who doesn't like to extend their birthday by a day or two?

Anywhoo... enough about what a lame SIL I am, lets talk about Cynthia's present... shall we?

I found these super cute wooden clothes pins at Michael's last week. I found them in the $1 section and they came in several colors. I grabbed a few of the turquoise one's thinking I could spruce them up a bit and do something fun with them.
This is what I came up with.

I used some sandpaper and roughed up the edges  a bit. I wanted it to look a little beat-up/scraped-up. Then I chose some papers from Echo Park's, This and That paper collection.
The roses were sized in Make-the-Cut and cut out with my Ecraft. They can be found on the Quilled Flowers file from Lettering Delights. The larger one was cut out at 3" and the smaller at 2 1/4".
The tag and sentiment are both from My Creative Time's, Teeny Tag Greetings stamp set. I think this set is one of my most favorite sentiment sets and those little tags are just the perfect size!

Happy belated birthday Cynthia! I hope you had a wonderful day!

See you tomorrow!
