Design Team Thursday #12 ~ Joy's Life

Happy Thursday!

Today is Joyslife.com's design team Thursday.

This is the card I created.

The base of the card was created with the Lacey Labels cart, I welded two of the labels together. The pears are from the Serenade cart.

The papers are from Basic Grey's, Nook and Pantry collection and kraft paper from PTI.

I used Joy's stamp set called Yummy Puns for the sentiment.

April Showers Bring Lots of Flowers...

Happy Tuesday!

The last couple weeks I have become addicted to buying SVG files. There are so many great sites that sell them and so many super cute designs. I just can't help myself! I won't even mention that several of the sites are having sales right now. ugh.

Then last week a couple of us, on facebook, were talking about how we all needed a intervention because we have wayyyyy to many svg files. So, I decided that at least twice a week, I am going to make something from the files that I have purchased.

Last night I made this card.

I used the Peep SVG set from Letteringdelights.com.

I placed the three flowers next to each other, on my Make-The-Cut mat and then created a shadow layer. Then I took two shadow layers and welded them together to create the card base. I was thinking that next time I may overlap the flowers a bit.

The papers are from Papertreyink.com, and Core-dinations.

I really like how it turned out!

I realized this morning that there is so much going on this week, I probably should blog about it so that I won't forget. Ha!

Thursday is another Design Team Thursday, with Joyslife.com. I have a super cute card to share. I used one of Joy's new stamps sets. LOVE all her stamps!

Super Boy!

Happy Monday!

Hopefully, you had a nice weekend. I spent Saturday cleaning and re-organizing my office/studio space. It's amazing how much better in it feels in there now. I feel like my creative juices are flowing again.

This is another card that I have had designed my my Gypsy for awhile now.

The shield is from the Create a Critter card. I used my Gypsy to weld two of them together to form the base of the card. The boy is from the Playtime cart.

The papers are Core-dinations and DCWV.

I used Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-642 Boy Mates Assortment, for his face.

I think he is "super" cute!

I have three winners that I need to announce! I have chosen them, I will be notifying them today, by email, and announcing their names in tomorrows post.

The pocket and bunny are a SVG cut file that I purchased from My Scrap Chick.

The bunny's face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed set and I used Glossy Accents on the bunny's face.

The twine is from The Twinery.

The fabulous "To" and "From" stamps are from Joyslife.com's, All Around Sentiment stamps.

So no blog hop would be complete with out some sort of blog candy!

Thanks a Melon!

Happy Friday!

Today is day 6 of, the Queen's Royal Court, showcasing Nikki Sivils' amazing products!

I made a super quick card.

I used Nikki's Blueberry Hill and Flaming Butterfly paper lines. I also used some solid colored card stock from Bazzil.

The frame pieces were cut from the Lacey Labels cart and the watermelon was cut from Simply Charmed.

The twine is from here, the face stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps, Everyday Character Face Assortment, and the sentiment stamp is from Joyslife.com's Yummy Pun Stamp set.

Design Team Thursday #11 ~ Joy's Life
