Sprinkled with Happiness!

Happy Wednesday!!!
Today is What a Treat Wednesday on the MCT blog. I thought I would share the treats that  made for our annual Memorial Day get together. I found these cookies at the store and they gave me the idea for my tag. I took my wire snipers and cut the middle out of the 2 donut dies so that I could make cookies. Next time I want to make donuts, I can easily use washi tape or frog tape to attach the center pieces back to the outside pieces. Cutting and applying all the sprinkles was quite a job! I am going to try and think of something a little easier/less work for the 4th. ;)

Best Birthday

Happy Monday and Happy Memorial Day to all my US friends!!! Today is Made in Minutes Monday over on the MCT blog. I made this quick card with the new  Chalkboard Birthday Stamp and Die Set. I've been wanting to try heat embossing on vellum for awhile now and I really like the effect. I love that you can see the muted colors of the patterned paper behind the vellum.

Grad Card

Today is "Trending Now" Thursday on the MCT blog. The "trend" we are highlighting today is banners. I created a graduation card with the Fun Stitched Tag Dies, I used one of them to create the banner across my card.  I was thinking that if I was going to make this card for someone specific, it would be fun to make it with their school colors.

Today is Inspiration Wednesday on the MCT blog. I found this card/dry brushing technique on the Papertrey Ink blog and I thought I would try and recreate it using MCT products. I really like how it came out. It's a fun technique, I may try it again on another project.

Make a Wish Tag

Today is Tag it Tuesday on the MCT blog. I made a tag with the new Light The Candles Stamp & Die Set. I stamped the background with one of the sentiments, using my MISTI girl. I used wink stella on the flame of the candle and the flowers, that I stamped on the icing, to add a bit of sparkle.

My Creative Time's 43rd Release blog hop!

I used my MISTI to create the stamped background and I made a template with one of the Fun Speech Bubbles to highlight the main sentiment. Day 4 - MCT May Release Week Sneak Peaks

Day 3 - MCT May Release Week Sneak Peaks

Today is day three of sneaks for My Creative Time's May release's. The set we're sneaking today is called "You make Life Sweet".  This new set has the cutest ice cream cones and coordinating sentiments. 

I actually made a mistake and posted today's sneak yesterday. (I was sick all weekend and clearly I should of just stayed in bed. Sigh) So, today's card really should of posted yesterday. I figured it out to late in the day to "fix" it, so I just left it. Anywhoo... My card was made with one of the new sentiments and the cherry die. I added a bit of wink of stella and glossy accents to each cherry, to give them a bit of dimension.

Happy Thursday!!!

Today starts an all new Designer's Challenge on the MCT blog. It's a color/theme challenge this month. I used four of the colors and incorporated the flamingo. Hopefully, it has a "beachy" feel, that's what I was going for anyway.

I created the blue striped background piece with the Geo Borders Stamp Set and my MISTI. The polka dot's on the tag are from the Build a Banner Kit and the sentiment is from the Surf's Up Stamp Set.
