Extra-ordinary Teacher!

Happy Friday!

I have another back to school gift idea today.  These are kinda fun don't you think? Again I found this idea on Pinterest, but I changed it up a bit so that it would work as a teacher gift.

The apple is from the Give a Hoot Cartridge. I cut it at 3 1/2".
I typed the sentiment on my computer and then used the center cut feature on my Cricut to cut it out.  Cute no?

Tomorrow I will have a "sneak" of one of Emma's new stamps, that she is releasing next Friday!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

His sweet little face is from the PK-758 Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed - 1-1/8"

Cricut Cardz Challenge #39

This weeks Challenge on the Cricut Cardz Challenge Blog was to create a card for
going back to school. The inspiration for my cards came from here and here. I decided to go a step further and make a gift box set for my sister-in-law. I made her 12 cards, envelopes, and the box to keep them in.
She is pretty traditional so I decided to go with an apple on the front of each card. The apple was cut from the Give a Hoot cart, it was cut at 3". The paper's I used and the twine are from Michael's.

The wording was printed on my printer, this video explains how to do it. The apples on the cards were cut at 2". I cut 5"x 3 3/4" pieces of cream card stock and adhered them to the inside of each card, so that it would be easy for her to write a note.
Hope on over,  play along with us, and check out/congratulate all the new design team members!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!

Happy Scrap'n!

Hoppy Birthday!

Happy Tuesday!  This is today's card.
The card measures   4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used the Basic Grey, Urban Prairie designer papers and solid DCWV papers. The bunny was cut from the Give a Hoot cart at 4 1/2".  I wrapped  pearl ribbon around the front of the card twice.  I used my Matha Stewart boarder punch for the three layers along the bottom of the card and I stamped the sentiment with my Lots of Pun  stamp set.
The sentiment pieces on the inside of the card measure; 3 3/4" x 5, 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", and 2 3/4" x 3 1/2".

Happy Scrap'n!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #25

This weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge was to design a card with a bird or a butterfly. I used the Give a Hoot Cartridge to create this sweet little card.
The card measures 3" x 8". I used up some of my coveted Chatterbox paper stash and one of my most favorite quotes.  The video is below:

Got Cookies?

I made this card for my bestie. We have a family of raccoons that live in one of the large trees on our property. Every night when they climb down the tree to get dinner, cat food we leave out for our Farrel cats,  she runs out and tries to feed them table scraps. They refuse to eat anything she has for them, unless it happens to be chocolate chip cookies.  I saw this sweet little raccoon on the "Give a Hoot" Cart and thought that it would be perfect for what I wanted to do.

Happy scrap'n!
