46thEditionBannerSmall
Happy Tuesday!!!
Today is day 2 of sneaks for the My Creative Time August release. The set we are sneaking today is called Too Cute to Spook. It is a stamp and matching die set. It's so fun and perfect for Halloween.
10-10
My first card was made with the new Stitched Square dies, last months My Thoughts Are With You Stamp Setand today's sneak set. I stamped the inside of the card with a sentiment from the Spooky Starry Night Stamp Set.
15-15
My second card was made with the smaller of the Stitched Square dies. I thought I would play with staking them. I love how this sweet little card turned out. The spider and tiny sentiment are from the set being sneaked today. Can you tell I love these little spiders?

My second card is a shaker that I made with two of the new stitched square dies and the You Make My Heart Smile Stamp SetI used StazOn ink to stamp the sentiment on the clear acetate. I really love how easy this card was to make with the square dies! I'm so happy to have them!

Shine Brightly

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is Trending Now over on the MCT blog. The trend we are looking at is embossing. I made a tag for a friends daughter, who is starting college next week. I thought she could use it as a bookmark/place holder in one of her school books.
6-6
I decided to emboss the front of my tag with one of the stitched star dies, I love the look of this technique and need to use it more. I used the 4th largest star.

Here is a video showing how to emboss with metal dies.

I sprayed it with some homemade glimmer mist. I used water and silver perfect pearls in a small spray bottle. I love the shimmery effect it creates.

Have a great day!

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is Inspire Me day on the MCT blog. My card for today is inspired by this card by Kristina Werner. Last week Z and I were watching YouTube videos and he saw her "Smiley" card and wanted to watch the video, so we did. He has a thing for "Smilies". So I thought I would try and make him a smiley card with MCT products, for his first day of school.
2-2
To get the circles, I used the smallest circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies, cut it out of fun foam, and created my own stamp. Then I used one of the face stamps from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp & Die SetThe sentiment is from the Write On Stamp SetI masked it off with post-it tape, so that I could use the two different color inks. Similar to what Kristina did in her video. I used the largest oval from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies to get the shape on the bottom.

Happy Tuesday!!!
Today is favorite stamp/die of the month over on the MCT blog. This month we are featuring the Springtime In Paris Stamp SetI made a shaker card for a friend, for her birthday.

I used the  Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More and an oval from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies for the base pieces. The Effiel Tower and sentiment are from the Springtime In Paris Stamp Set the banner is from the The Sky is the Limit Stamp Set. Both the tower and banner are heat embossed. Bugs & Kisses

2-2
Happy Monday!!!

Today is Made in Minute's Monday on the MCT blog. I made a quick card to send to a friend who needs a lift.

I cut the tag out of water color paper, stamped my images with versafine ink and then sealed with with clear embossing powder. Then I used my Zig Clean Color Markers to color in my scene. Then I wrapped the tag with a bit of twine and attached it to the card. I stamped and sealed the sentiment the same way I did the flower/lady bug scene.
