Happy Thursday!!!
Today is "Trending Now" Thursday on the My Creative Time blog. Monograms are super hot right now, you can find them on almost anything, so that is are "trend" for today.

I made a set of four note cards with my initial. I'm always making cards for others, so I thought I would make these for myself. They were really easy and quick, I think I'm going to make a few sets for gifts as well. All the products I used are listed below.

Baby Tags

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is Inspire Me Wednesday on the My Creative Time blog. I found this card on Pinterest and it inspired the design for both of my tags.

I decided to make a boy & girl themed tag. I love our new Hello Baby Stamp Set and thought it would be fun to mix up the sentiments a bit. I used two sentiments for each tag, I just masked off words from each one to make the sentiment I wanted. Both tags were quick and easy to make, I love how they turned out.

Are you Serious?

Happy Tuesday!!!
Today on the My Creative Time blog we are featuring the favorite stamp of the month. July's stamp of the month is  the  Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set.

I made a congrats "mommy to be" card for a friend who just found out she is having a baby girl. I used the "Are you Serious?" stamp from the Bracket Sentiments Stamp Set to create my background paper. The "Are you Serious?" phrase is an inside joke for us, so I knew it would be perfect for her card. I love how it turned out and I can not wait to give it to her.

Happy "I Do" Day

Happy Friday!!!

I have a quick "I Do" card to share with you today. I made this card for a wedding that I'm attending this weekend. 

I used my new favorite embossing powder for the sentiment and the script background. I paired it with PTI's soft granite paper and ribbon and it looks beautiful. I used the wedding colors in the wreath and added a bit of sparkle and interest, to the flowers, with Glossy Accents and some clear Wink of Stella.

MCT July Designer's Challenge

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is the start of an all new Designer's Challenge on the My Creative Time blog. This months challenge is a color, theme, or sketch. You can choose! I used the colors and theme for my card. 

I made a birthday shaker with the cherries from the All Around Goodies Stamp Set and my sentiment is from the Light The Candles Stamp & Die Set. The Polaroid die from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set makes a perfect window for a shaker card.

Treats for the 4th

Happy Wednesday!!!
Today is What a Treat Wednesday over on the MCT blog. I made some cute 4th of July treats with the Bubblegum Treat Box Die, for our annual 4th BBQ. I used the star patterned velum from Papertrey Ink for the boxes and them filled them with red, white, and blue M&M's. I tied them closed with red, white, and blue twine. I stamped the star background on my tags, using the starts from the Hello Baby Stamp Set, and then used two different sentiments from the revised My Little Firecracker set.

Today is Tag it Tuesday on the My Creative Time blog. I made a tag with the new Hello Baby Stamps and Dies set. I stamped the sweet little bull, colored him in with my Zig Clean Color Markers, cut him out with the coordinating die, and then attached him to the tag with some foam tape.

Today is Make it in Minutes Monday over on the MCT blog. I made a quick baby card with the onesie die from the new Hello Baby Stamp Set. I stamped it, randomly, with the cute giraffe stamp from the  Classmate Valentines Stamp Set. It reminds me of a onesie that you might find at the store.

I stamped the inside with two of the sentiments from the Hello Baby Stamp Set.

Unforgettable

Happy Friday!!!
I wanted to share a card that I made for a special little friend who just turned one. I love this  Ella and Friends stamp set from Mama Elephant and couldn't wait to get my hands on it.  

I used the "smooshing" watercolor technique for the background paper. If you search "smooshing technique" on YouTube, there are several videos showing how it's done. It's really simple and easy to do. I used the Zig Clean Color Real Brushes to color in my stamped images and then I cut them out and attached them with foam tape. I love how it turned out.
