Hoo Loves You?

Happy Tuesday!

I am a little late this morning. I was going to post about a project that I made with vinyl, but the photos that I took didn't come out. I am going to have try again tonight. Hopefully, I will have that post up tomorrow. :)

I have another Valentine's inspired card today. Again, this is one that I have had in my head for awhile, but just haven't had the time to make it. I tried to coordinate the owl with the ribbon that I found. I am not sure if I like the colors together... but I went with it, and I think it turned out pretty cute.
The owl was cut from the Hoot N Hollar Circut cart at 3".

The papers are from the new K&Co KP Valentine's stack and DCWV. I found the ribbon at Michael's and the heart edge punch is from EK Sucess.
The owls sweet little face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, Medium Critter Faces.

Cricut Cardz Challenege #35

This weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge was to create a Get Well card using any cartridge(s) and green, blue, black, and white only. I haven't spent much time using my Hoot and Hollar cart so I thought I would break that one out and make the card with that. I also used the "center point" button on my Cricut for the 1st time! :)
The card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". The pattern paper is from the DCWV Retro stack and the solid card stock is also DCWV. The ribbon is 5/8" stitched grosgrain ribbon from Michael's. The owl was cut from the Hoot and Hollar Cart at 3". The sentiment was printed on my printer and then I used the "center point" feature on my Cricut to cut the blurb around my sentiment. The blurb was cut from Create a Critter, it was cut at 2".
The inside sentiment pieces measure 3 3/4" x 5" and 3 1/4" x 4 1/2". The flower was also cut from the Hoot and Hollar cart at 1 1/4".

I hope you have a wonderful day!
Happy scrap'n!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #31

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you are having a blessed day!

This will be my fourth and final challenge for this week! Whew! I am worn out!  This weeks challenge on the  Peachy Keen Blog, was to create a card from the this sketch.  This card is what I came up with.
My card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used the DCWV Retro paper stack and DCWV solid textured paper. My sweet little owl was cut from the Hoot and Hollar, Cricut Lite cart. She was cut at 3 1/2". The white 5/8" grosgrain ribbon is from my stash (probably purchased at Michael's) and the pink buttons are Making Memories. I found them in the $1 bins at Michael's.
I printed the inside sentiment on my printer. The yellow paper measures 3 3/4" x 5", the pink is 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", and the white piece was cut at 2 3/4" x 4".

I just have to say that I LOVE the Hoot and Hollar cart!
Happy Scrap'n!
Ruthie :)
