Cricut Cardz Challenge #28

Here is my card for this weeks  Cricut Cardz Challenge. This week we had to design a card using shoes. So this is my ode to summer. No more rain (well at least where I live)...it's all about walking around in bare feet, feeling the grass or sand between your toes!

I used the Give a Hoot cart for the grass and flowers, the Paisley cart supplied the rain boots, and the From My Garden cart supplied all the bugs and sign. I used  black Doodlebug letter rub on's for the word "Flowers" on my sign.  The card measure's 4 x 9.5 inches. The inside say's "Thinking of You", both the butterfly and the "thinking of you" were cut from the Walk in my Garden Cart. 

Sorry, there is no video this week. :( My camera died last week and I am saving up for the camera that I really want. I do have photos though! :)

I made this card last week for the My Pink Stamper Father's Day Card Challenge. I used the Life's a Beach cart and the Paisley cart. The Paper is form the DCWV Tahiti stack.

Lots of Pun! - Snail Mail Card

That's what I have been having with the new "Lots of Pun" stamp set by Joy's Life. You can purchase the set here.  A couple weeks ago Joy invited me to be one of her featured designer's to showcase her new stamp set. The card below is my first creation! 

 Here is the recipe:

Card Measures 5.5 x 4.5 inches
Cricut Carts used - Create a Critter and Sentimentals
Designer Paper - DCWV Summer Dreams Stack
Card Stock - DCWV Summer Dreams Stack
Sentiment Stamp- Lots of Pun

The card was cut from the Sentimentals Cart - Page 51, Cut the stamp at 5.5 then flip the image and cut it again, so you have two. This is going to be the card base. If you have design studio or a Gypsy you can weld it together to form the card. If not cut 1/4" stripes of paper and glue them to the top to make the card. *See my video for a better explanation.*
The front blue piece was also cut from page 51 and cut at 5.5 inches. The snail was cut from the Create a Critter cart, page 67, and it was cut at 2.25 inches. The "Lot's of Pun" sentiment was stamped to a piece of paper that measures .75 x 1.25 inches.

The card stock for the inside of the card was cut at 3.5 x 4.5, 3 x 4, and 2.5 x 3.5. The mail box was cut from Create a Critter, page 67, cut at 1.5"

Everything was inked on the edges and the snail, sentiment, and mailbox were applied with foam tape to add dimension.

Pulling For You!

I made this card for my BFF's husband. He is running for San Diego's County Assessor Recorder/Clerk position on June 8th. He knows that I am "pulling for him", but I saw this card in the Just Because manual and I thought I would make it for him. See the video below for more detailed information.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #27

This is my card for this weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge #27. Our challenge this week is to create a Father's Day card. I used the From My Kitchen Cart and DCWV's Linen Closet and Shimmer's paper stacks. I printed the sentiment on white card stock. See the video below for more information.
