  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEBBIE!

 (Today is my BFF's birthday!)

Can you believe that I have known you for 18 years!?! CRAZY! It sure doesn't feel like that does it? (Well, maybe at times it does.) :)

Soooo... of course I had to make her a card!

Of course, it was made with my  all time favorite cart, Birthday Bash!

The card is a pedestal card, there are lots of great tutorials on YouTube showing how to make one if you would like to try one too. I think the pedestal card is my favorite type of card, I definitely don't make enough of them.

Here is just the front.

The cat was cut at  3 3/4", the hat was cut at 3/4". The polka dot frames are from the Once Upon A Princess cart. I am not sure of the sizes, as I designed that part on my Gypsy.

The papers are DCWV and My Minds Eye. The Happy Birthday stamp is from Joyslife.com's,  Father and Son stamp set.

The cat's face was stamped with Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-138 Kitty Tear Face Parts.

"Girly Affair"

I had a little free time yesterday and decided to play along with Made by Momo's  Tuesday's Challenge. This weeks challenge was to make a card or layout that is "super girly". When I saw Momo's challenge I was so excited because it reminded me of a super cute cut that I purchased a couple weeks ago.  

  The card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". I used the DCWV All about Girl's stack and the coordinating solid paper stack . The top note shape was cut from the Once Upon a Princess cart, it is one of the tag shapes turned onto it's side, it was cut at 4". The "Spa Girl" was cut at 4 1/2", I used Make-the-Cut and my Cricut to cut her out. I also added three small pearls to her neck... cause every girl knows, it's important to look your best...even at the spa. :)

 The inside sentiment pieces measure 3 3/4" x 5", 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", and 2 3/4" x 4". 

The cucumbers were cut at 1" each.

I think I am going to make this card in pink next!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #31

This is the card I created for this weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge. This weeks theme is 4th of July. Every year since I was a little girl we have always gone to the county fair on the 4th and one of the things that we always do, at the fair, is watch the rodeo. When I saw this little cow girl in the Once Upon a Princess cart, I knew just what I wanted to do! 

The card is a standard A2 size, 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. The papers are from the DCWV Summer Dreams designer paper and card stock stacks. I printed the sentiment on my computer/printer. The princess was cut at 4" and I traded out her cow girl hat with the uncle Sam hat from the Independence Day cart. The Uncle Sam hat was cut at 1 1/4". I inked around all the edges with coordinating inks.

The sentiment pieces on the inside of the card measure 3 3/4" x 5", 3 1/4" x 4 1/2", and 2 3/4" x 4". I cut the Uncle Sam hat at 1 1/4". I inked around all the edges with coordinating inks.
