Surpise Bithday Blog Hop!

Happy Thursday!

Welcome to Emma's Surprise Birthday Blog Hop and Throwback Thursday!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog then you are on the right track, if you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

So...since today is Emma's birthday we decided that it would be fun to throw her a surprise Birthday blog hop!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!!!!!!!
Are you surprised????

So this month's Throwback Thursday Challenge is to use a Cricut cartridge that has a CAKE, BALLOONS, or PARTY HAT! You can create a project of your choice!

I broke out my Gypsy Girl, as Emma calls her, and created this fun little birthday tag.
(Did I mention that today is Emma's birthday?)
Anyhoo... both the tag and party hat are from the Birthday Bash Cricut cart. Still my most favorite cart! The tag was cut at 3 1/2" and the hat was cut at 3 1/4". I added stitching with a white pen and I embossed the "Wish Big" with white embossing powder. The ribbon was purchased at Michael's.
The papers are PaperTrey Ink, Core'dinations, and Bazzill. The sentiment came from the "WOW So Many Candles" stamp set.

So... you will have TWO weeks to create a project and link it to the Throwback Thursday linky. At the end of two weeks Emma will be choosing a winner, via random.org. The lucky winner will receive a CUTTLEBUG!!!! So fun right?!?

So what are you waiting for???? Get to creating! I can't wait to see your project!

Welcome to the Home Decor Blog Hop!

If you have arrived here from Martha's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning click here to go to Faith's blog.
Faith asked us to create projects for our homes. I decided to make Faith a banner that she could hang in her living room.
Faith said that the colors in her living room are purple and red. I couldn't find a purple paper that I liked so, I choose dark blue and red papers that worked well together.
I used the Birthday Bash cart for the flags and font.
I used Bazzil and DCWV Nautical papers.
I strung it with 6" white tulle.

I hope Faith likes it!

So no blog hop would be complete with out some sort of blog candy!

Happy Saturday!

Welcome to Jenny's B-ig B-irthday B-log-aversary Blog Hop!

If you have arrived from Erika's blog then you are on the right track, if you want to start at the beginning, click here.

Jenny's favorite holiday is Halloween and so I decided to make her a Halloween themed banner for her scrapbook area.
I used the Birthday Bash and Happy Hauntings carts.
The papers are all from the DWVC Midnight Spell stacks.
The Flags measure 5", the headstones measure 4" and 3.5", and the letters are 3" tall.
I really like this font, but it doesn't have a shadow... :(
I strung it together with 6" black tulle. Have you seen all the new colors of tulle at Mike's?
Oh My!

Happy belated b-day Jenny! I hope you like it!
Love Ya!

Sweet Baby Banner & Card

Happy Wednesday!
A friend of mine asked me to make her a new baby banner. I had just purchased a new svg set from Lettering Delights and I knew exactly what I wanted to do.
The flags and ovals are from the Birthday Bash cart. The letters/font is from the Life's a party cart.

The papers are from DCWV and Core-dinations.
The cat, cow, and moon are from Lettering Delights, No Rhyme SVG set.
I just love the cow!

The new momma loved it! :)

I also made a matching card.
I pieced/welded the card together in Make-the-cut with Lettering Delights, No Rhyme SVG set.

Papers are from Papertrey Ink, Doodlebug Designs, and Core-dinations.

See you back here tomorrow!
I hope you have a great day!

Tacky Tuesday's Challenge #5

Happy Tuesday!

I am so excited because today is Tacky Tuesday's Challenge #5!

First off, I wanted to announce the winner of challenge #4.  We had 28 entries for this last challenge! All of the cards were so cute and so creative! I used random.org to choose a winner and the winner is...... Sherrie Koning! Congrats Sherrie! Thanks again, to everyone who entered the challenge.

Are you ready for the next challenge!?!

Remember, we changed the rules a bit. If you do not have the cut/cart that we pick, you can still play along as long as you use a similar cut, but you will still need to do a play on words somewhere on the front of your card.
This weeks challenge we are using a cow cut from any cart, you will also need to use either the word "moo" or the word "udder" somewhere in the sentiment on you card or layout.

Since Sherrie won the last challenge, I have asked her to be a guest designer this challenge!

I also asked three other super talented people to be guest designers this week:

Jillian

Mary

Saundra

Thanks so much ladies! You all did a udderly amoosing job! :)

Here is my card:
The base of the card was made on my Gypsy using the Formal Occasion cart and the cow is from the Birthday Bash cart.
The papers are DCWV and Core-dinations and the twine is from The Twinery.
I made the sentiment on my computer.

The winner of this challenge #5 will receive a set of:
PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8".

Make sure that you post your card to our Facebook group, Tacky Tuesday's, before Tuesday, April 26th, 2011.

I can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Popcorn,Parfees & Projecs Ustream Recap!

 Happy Monday

Whew! So can you believe that the weekend is already over? Alex and I had so much fun Friday night! If you joined us, we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU! If you weren't able to, don't fret... we recorded it! You can watch it here.

So as we promised, below are photos and information for all the projects that we made.

My 1st project was this bird house box.
Adorable no?
The roof comes off so you can put something inside!
I purchased the Spring Bird Houses SVG file from SVGCuts.com, you can see it here. I used Cosmo Cricket and Core-dinations papers.

The bird's sweet little face is from PKS set, PK-754 Critter Faces SET A Medium.

Here is a picture of the birdhouse we made during the Ustream.

My 2nd project was a Sliding Pop Up Card. My PKS dt sister, Kim, has several wonderful tutorials, showing how to make this super fun card on her blog.

Here a view of the flat card.

Here is a view of it "popped" up.
Side view...
I used Core-dinations and papers. The bunny was cut at 3.25" from the Birthday Bash cart and the grass was cut from the Create a Critter cart. The bunny's face is from PKS's new release set called PK-441 Cute & Cuddly.  The "Hoppy Easter" sentiment stamp is from here.

Also... I told everyone on the Ustream that I would post the link to my favorite glue and  needle nose applicator.
Here is the ink to the quilling website were you can purchase them.

The 3rd Project are these FABU Paper Flowers! I know what you're thinking...paper flowers? Boring! I made those in high school! But we promise, using heavier weight napkins- from Ikea - makes all the difference! They look like fabric and are OH SO Martha! How cool would it be to make them for your next bridal, baby shower or even wedding decor! We decided this elegant and fun door hanger would make a great addition to Alex's for my craft room door!
Ooo-La -la...don't ya just love it?

I found the idea on Dana's Blog. Thanks Dana :)

The 4th and final project we shared was inspired by Holly's Blog. Aren't these little post it not key chains the CUTEST! We decide to change up the size and use a decorative button and baker's twine, LOVE IT! Can't wait to use it! Check out Holly's Blog for the awesome tutorial! Thanks Holly!
Again, Alex and I want to say a HUGE...

THANK YOU!

We are so thankful for you, our followers, that we are each giving away a set of Peachy Keen Stamps, new release stamps.

PK-441 Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8"
