Halloween Hustle - Day 2!

I made a treat holder.

These are so simple to make! The purple piece was cut at 3.5"x 8.75". Then I scored it at 3"and 6". 

This is what it looks like on the inside. It holds one Ghirardelli square.

I secured the inside pocket with Score Tape, on each side, and then slipped the chocolate inside.

MCT - October New Release Blog Hop!

I made a Birthday gift card and envelope set.

I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die, for the card. It fits perfectly inside the Stitched Scalloped Envelope. I attached the gift card with two glue dots and stamped my sentiment.

Here's a close up of the envelope front. I sanded it  a bit around the edges, stamped it, and then added the twine and fish button.

MCT New Release Week - Day 4

Today is day 4 of sneaks for My Creative Time's new release week! We are all featuring the new Scalloped Stitched Envelope Die today. I was so excited when Emma told us about it and I could not wait to get my hand on it.

I made a Valentine's Day gift envelope.

I love how the Scallop & Stitched Circle Die and the large Scalloped Stitched Rosette work together perfectly. I am also in love with the small stitched dies that fit inside the All Around Sentiment stamps too. 

I love how the rosette turned out.

MCT New Release Week - Day 3

Happy Wednesday!

Today is day 3 of sneaks for My Creative Time's new release week! The sneaks today are for two different sized scalloped bow dies. My project was made with the small bow die.

I made other quick and easy Halloween treat.

I found these bags at Michael's and I thought they would be fun to make Halloween treats with. I attached the tag to the bow with a bit of twine and then attached the bow & tag to the bag with some quick dry glue. 

I filled my bags with chocolate nuggets, but any kind of candy would work.

MCT New Release Week - Day 2

Happy Tuesday!

Today is day two of sneaks for My Creative Time's new release week. We are showcasing a new all around stamp set and rosette dies today! I am super excited, because I have been patiently waiting on Emma to make rosette dies. She finally did and in two sizes too!

I used the larger die made some festive cupcake/muffin toppers. 

They were so quick and easy to make with the new die.  Plus they fold perfectly too, that's hard to do, even on a good day! Ha!

MCT October Sneak Peaks - Day 1

Happy Monday!

Today is day one of sneaks for My Creative Time's new release week!

I made a quick and fun Halloween treat.

I used the spider stamp from the Fright Night Stamp Set and inked him up with some StazOn ink. I very gently stamped the spider on the front of the bag, be careful because the stamp may slide and blur your spider. 

The tag/ticket was made with the the new stamp set called, Holiday Tickets Stamp Set. They work perfectly with the largest, Stitched Fun Ticket Die and help to make the ticket dies multi functional, so that you can design/use them like tags now too!

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday over on the My Creative Time blog. 

I normally do a two page spread for each month in my Project Life album. I decided to work on the 1st half of September.

I bought a Selphy printer a couple months ago and I finally took the time to figure out how to use it. I prefer to get the majority of my photos printed at a lab, but I wanted something small and portable that I could print my Instagram photos on, or a quick photo if I need it. I also like the versatility of being able to take it with me, if I go to a friends house or to a crop. I love that I can print photos directly from my phone and the print quality is pretty good!

3-d Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!

  I have a fun Halloween treat bag idea to share with you today. I saw a similar idea a couple weeks back on Pinterest. I tweaked it a little and this is what I came up with. 

Fun right!?!

I think these would make great party favors. I used the standard size lunch bags, but a smaller one would work too. I am going to fill mine with rice crispy treats and popcorn squares. 

I sized the boots in Make-the-cut at 4.2" wide x 6" tall and cut them out.  The bag is folded over 2", from the top. I stamped my sentiment, then secured the black streamers (they create the ruffle on the skirt) with score tape, along the bottom back of the flap. Hot glue would work too.

Lastly, I filled the bag and then secured it at the top with some twine.

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I  spent yesterday afternoon working on my albums, so I thought I would play along.

I have been working on Zachary's album, trying to get it caught up.

We don't have to many photo's from Halloween night, that turned out, so I chose to make a smaller page. I used one of the photo's from that night and one from the professional photo shot that was done the day before. 

I love how it turned out.
