Thanks a Melon!

Happy Friday!

Today is day 6 of, the Queen's Royal Court, showcasing Nikki Sivils' amazing products!

I made a super quick card.
I used Nikki's Blueberry Hill and Flaming Butterfly paper lines. I also used some solid colored card stock from Bazzil.

The twine is from here, the face stamp is from Peachy Keen Stamps, Everyday Character Face Assortment, and the sentiment stamp is from Joyslife.com's Yummy Pun Stamp set.
Don't forget that you still have a chance to win the stack of paper that Nikki Sivils donated for me to give to one of my fabulous followers. Make sure to leave a comment on this blog post and make sure that you leave a comment here, here, and here, if you haven't already, for four chances to win!

Happy Thursday!

Today is Joyslife.com's design team Thursday.
This week I made a shaped card. I chose the bowl of strawberries from the Simply Charmed cart. I used my Gypsy to weld two of the shadow layers together to form the base of the card.
The card measures 10" x 4.27". The papers are from Papertrey Ink and DCWV.
The twine is from here.
I used Joyslife.com's Yummy Pun Stamp Set.

 You can get them here.

Have you seen Joy's two new stamp sets?

Aren't they so super cute!?!
I can't wait to get my hands on them!
You can purchase them here.

Flaunt it Friday Challenge #3

Happy Friday!

Can you believe that Christmas is only a week away!?! I am sooo not ready. I still have so much to do. Hopefully, this weekend I will be able to get caught up on some things.

Anyway.. on to today's Flaunt it Friday Challenge.  This weeks challenge is to use the cup and lemon from page 48 on the Simply Charmed Cricut cart. Please use both of the images. If you do not have this cart, no worries,  you can still enter the challenge, just make sure you use a similar cut.

This is my card...
The lemons were cut at 1" out of the same paper as the background. I inked around each one and glued them down, trying to give the effect of the paper being embossed. The cup was cut at 3".
The twine is from the Twinery. The sentiment is from this Pink by Design stamp set. I used this punch to make the tag.
The PKS face stamp is from the Cheery-O face assortment.

I just love how it turned out! :)

I hope you will join us for this weeks challenge! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. You can click here to get to the Flaunt it Friday challenge blog!

Also... don't forget that tonight is the
Jingle- Jangle Blog Party!

The fun starts at 6pm eastern standard time! There will be lots or ideas for ornaments and blog candy at each stop along the way! I hope you will join us!

Have a wonderful day!

Altered Frame

Happy Monday!

Have you seen Joy's new stamp sets? There are three of them and they are my new favorite stamps! You can see them here. I love that they are so versatile and can be interchanged and used together to make that perfect saying on your card or project.

When I saw one of the stamps, in the "All Around Sentiments" stamp set, I knew just what I wanted to do!
I started with a small wood frame and some Mod Podge. Both were purchased at Michael's.
I pulled some decorative paper and matching DCWV card stock from my stash. I covered the frame with the decorative paper and then added a few embellishments.
I used the Simply Charmed and A Walk in My Garden Carts.
The love bug was cut at 2 1/2" and stamped with one of the new PKS Happy Lashes faces.
The ribbon was from my stash and the tag was cut at 1/2" from the Walk in My Garden cart. The tag was stamped with a stamp from the "All Around Sentiments" stamp set.

I think it is going to look really cute sitting on my BFF's desk, with a picture of her sweet little "bug" in it! :)

Here is what the"All Around Sentiments" stamp set looks like.

The stamps are made with the highest quality photopolymer. Did you know that... Joy is offering free shipping on all her stamps sets until November 20th? Well... she is! :)

I will be back tomorrow with a new card.
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Wednesday!

This is my card for the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog. The challenge for this week is to create a card for Christmas, using a card feature from any cart.

I just realized that my card really isn't a Christmas card but more of a "winter" card.
Oh well... you've have day's like that to, right?
The card was cut from the Sentimentals cart at 10" and the hat (3") and mittens (2") were cut from the Simply Charmed cart.
I used the new "Snow Cuties" Peachy Keen stamps for the faces. The pink and white twine was purchased from The Twinery.com.
Now head on over to the Cricut Cradz Challenge blog...there's a ton more inspiration just waiting to be soaked up! I can't wait to see what you create!
