Today is Through-back Thursday on the My Creative Time Blog. I made a quick new baby card for a friend. I used the Hello Baby Stamp Set and the Teeny Tag Greetings - REVISED for this sweet new baby card, both are older sets. So...since today is Emma's birthday we decided that it would be fun to throw her a surprise Birthday blog hop!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EMMA!!!!!!!
Are you surprised????

So this month's Throwback Thursday Challenge is to use a Cricut cartridge that has a CAKE, BALLOONS, or PARTY HAT! You can create a project of your choice!

I broke out my Gypsy Girl, as Emma calls her, and created this fun little birthday tag.
(Did I mention that today is Emma's birthday?)
Anyhoo... both the tag and party hat are from the Birthday Bash Cricut cart. Still my most favorite cart! The tag was cut at 3 1/2" and the hat was cut at 3 1/4". I added stitching with a white pen and I embossed the "Wish Big" with white embossing powder. The ribbon was purchased at Michael's.
The papers are PaperTrey Ink, Core'dinations, and Bazzill. The sentiment came from the "WOW So Many Candles" stamp set.

So... you will have TWO weeks to create a project and link it to the Throwback Thursday linky. At the end of two weeks Emma will be choosing a winner, via random.org. The lucky winner will receive a CUTTLEBUG!!!! So fun right?!?

So what are you waiting for???? Get to creating! I can't wait to see your project!

Happy Thursday!

Today is the start of another Throwback Thursday Challenge on Emma's blog. This weeks challenge is to create a card with a "font" cart. You can use any images or fonts that are on the cart. Remember... you can only use a "Font" cart!
Here is my card!
I used the Simply Sweet Font Cart. I used the heart feature and made the base of my card, the white insert, and the red heart.
I used my white gel pen for the stitching on the front of the heart and I wrapped turquoise twine around the base of the card.

I used the Emma's stamp set called Home Sewn for the sentiment, it is embossed with white embossing ink.

For more inspiration and to see more about the challenge, click here.

Tomorrow is the start of an all new Peachy Keen Stamps, Let's Face it Friday Challenge, I can't wait to show you my project.
I hope you have a great day!

Throwback Thursday Challenge w/My Creative Time

Happy Thursday!

Are you ready for a new Throwback Thursday Challenge?

This weeks challenge is a "Cricutless Challenge"! You are also required to use the colors: purple, green, orange, and black.

I always give my besties kids a small "gift card" at Halloween.  I know that they get more then enough candy Trick or Treating and who doesn't want a Target gift card?
Well.... Emma's new Embossed Gift Card Holder die worked perfectly for this challenge!
The stamp is from her All Around Halloween stamp set and it was stamped on the Stitched Circle die. I used some glossy accents to add a little dimension to the little ghostie.
The sentiment is also from the All Around Halloween stamp set and it is stamped on the Stitched Oval die.

So there you go! I super cute gift card holder and it took me less then 5 minutes to make it! I am telling you... if you don't have it, you NEED the Embossed Gift Card Holder die!

If you want to check out the rest of the Throwback Thursday Challenge projects click here to go to Emma's blog. The deadline for this challenge is Wed, September 8th.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Throwback Thursday Challenge w/My Creative Time

Happy Thursday!

Are you ready for a new Throwback Thursday Challenge?

This weeks challenge is use an older cartridge of your choice, you need to make a Christmas project and you must to incorporate "material" on your project; so you can include lace, fabric, felt, or any other type of material.

If you participate in this challenge you will have the opportunity to win the "All Around Christmas" stamp set.

I made a card.
This card totally makes me LOL. I was trying to make him look like the dog from "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas", but I ended up "jazzing" him up a bit, that is where is zebra print flannel saddle came in. :)
I used the Lettering Delights SVG set called, Feliz Navi Dog. It's the cutest set, especially if you love dogs. The papers are from Papertry Ink and Coredinations.
I used My Creative Time's stamp set called "All Around Christmas". I cut the round "Santa's Little Helper" stamp apart so that I could create a stamped boarder all around the edge of my card. Since the stamps are cling stamps, it will "cling" easily back together and will stamp perfectly the next time I use it.  His saddle is a piece of zebra print flannel, that I edged with some silver stickels.

If you want to check out the rest of the Throwback Thursday Challenge projects click here to go to Emma's blog. The deadline for this challenge is Wed, August 3rd.

Don't forget the winner of the challenge will receive a set of  "All Around Christmas" stamps!

I Hope you have a wonderful day!

Throwback Thursday Challenge w/My Creative Time

Happy Thursday!

Are you ready for a new Throwback Thursday Challenge?

This weeks challenge is use either the "Wild Card" or "Just Because" cartridges. If you do not have these carts you can use any older cart. The only other requirement is that you use embossing somewhere on your card. It can be either "heat" or "dry" embossing.

I had some fun with this one.
I made this for my besties hubby, to put on his desk. He loves to sail and they have a beautiful sail boat. This is another one of my "free" finds, that I converted in Make-the-Cut.
The sentiment stamp that I used was from Emma's, "Happy Homecoming" stamp set.
The sail was embossed with the D'vine Swirl folder and the flag was embossed with the Polka Dots folder. I used a small nail file to sand the top of the paper, so that the white center shows. The twine is from Tanner's store.
The "bottom" of the boat is a free PDF pattern that I found here. The sail and flag are both from an svg file called Cape Cod, from SVGAttic.com.

I think I am going to fill it with Peppermint Patty's, they are Jeff's favorite.

If you want to check out the rest of the Throwback Thursday Challenge projects click here to go to Emma's blog. The deadline for this challenge is Wed, July 20th.

Tomorrow is the start of a all new Peachy Keen Stamps, Let's Face it Friday Challenge!

Throwback Thursday Challenge w/My Creative Time

Happy Thursday!

Today is the start of a all new Throwback Thursday Challenge!

This weeks challenge is to use any "Lite" cartridge you own and to "BLING" up the project of your choice! Yep, add any kind of Bling, rhinestones, stickles, glitter paper etc...

I made a card for the 4th of July.

The little girl is from the Twinkle Toes Cricut Lite cart and the stars are from the B is for Boy Lite cart.
The kraft card stock is from Papertrey Ink, the stripe is from DCWV, Nantucket stack.
The glitter paper can be found on the Peachy Keen Stamps website, it is called

Glitz17 cardstock 6 x 6 all colors. I love it! It cuts like butter in your machine and there is very minimal glitter mess.

The sentiment is from My Creative Time's stamp set called,  My Little Fire Cracker.
The little girls face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment.

I can't wait to see what to see all the projects for this Throwback Thursday challenge!

Happy Thursday!

This weeks Throwback Thursday Challenge is to use "any older cart of your choice". Create a project of your choice including the colors GREEN & YELLOW! You can add additional colors if you'd like, just as long as those colors are used!

This is my project. I made a layout of my sweet little Zachary.
I made him the elephant costume for Halloween last year. You can see that post here.
The elephant is a from a svg file called Sweet Nothings, purchased from Lettering Delights. They are currently having a customer appreciation promotion, if you spend $10 or more, you get $5 off your order. All you have to do, at checkout, is enter coupon code: FiveForYou. They have some of the cutest svg files!
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's stamp set called Camera Shy. This set of stamps  is perfect for layouts too!
You can get this set here.

Everything will be fine...

Happy Wednesday!

Super quick post for you today.

So I hadn't planned on making two fish cards this week, it just sort of happened that way. I must have "fish" on the brain or something. LOL When I saw this little fish, it reminded me of a fancy goldfish that I  had. His name was "fish", super creative right?

This fish is a Silhouette design, from their online store. I searched for a fishbowl svg file and found a free one on the MTC forum. I created a shadow around it, welded two of them together, and created the base of the card.
The papers are from Papertrey Ink, DCWV, and K and Company.

The twine is from The Twinery and the sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Turn That Frown Upside Down.

Tomorrow is the start of a all new Throwback Thursday challenge. I can't wait to show you my project.
I hope you have a great day!
