Happy Thursday!!!

Today is Through-back Thursday on the My Creative Time Blog. I made a quick new baby card for a friend. I used the Hello Baby Stamp Set and the Teeny Tag Greetings - REVISED for this sweet new baby card, both are older sets. I also used the newer Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies and the Chunky Stitched Tag Dies.

The Last Piece

Today is Tag it Tuesday over on the MCT blog. Friends of mine just completed their family with a sweet baby girl. So I made them a tag with the new Stitched Puzzle Pieces Dies and some peachies.

Day 2 - Sneaks for MCT November Release

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is day two of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's November releases.

So for today's sneaks, I played with the new die set "Fun Stitched Edge Dies", there are six different edge designs! So fun! I also used the new stamp set called, Fun Variety on the Inside and Out Stamp Set. The new "In and Out" stamp set has sentiments for the front and inside of the card!

The base of the card measures 4 1/4" x 5". The white grid paper measures 4 1/4"x 4 1/2" and the blue, 4 1/4"x 3 3/4". The sailboat was sized to 2 3/4" tall.

I stamped the inside with the "inside" part of the sentiment. I love having the option to stamp the inside of the card as well. :)

MCT Designer Challenge

Happy Thursday!

Today is Designer Challenge day on the MCT blog. This weeks challenge is to create a project with fabric and some sort of stitching.

I made a card for a friend of mine who just found out she is having a baby girl.

The card measures 4"x 4", the inset is 3 3/4"x 3 3/4", and the baby's face/head was cut at 3". The face stamp is the 1 3/8"stamp. The flannel fabric was cut at 1" wide by 16"long.

3-D Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!

Today is 3-D Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog.

I made some burp cloth lollipops! Aren't they so cute?!?

You can see my tutorial on how to make burp cloths, here. I found the a tutorial for these cute burp cloth popsicles from here. I made three and put them into a terra cotta pot, so that they could be placed on a table as a center piece.

You could also wrap them like peppermint candies too! How seriously cute would that be!?!

To create the tags, I used My Creative Time's, Scalloped & Stitched Circle die, All Around Everything Stamp Set, and the All Around Everything Accessories stamp set. I just love all of Emma's products! I almost feel guilty using them, they are designed to make even the newest of crafter's look like an expert.

A single lolli would be really cute on the top of a present too.

Here is my card.

The card base was cut from the Formal Occasions cart, I welded two frames together to form the base of the card. The sweet baby is from the New Arivial cart.

The papers are from Papertrey Ink, Core-dinations and ???

The sentiment is from Emma's, Mom you ROCK, stamp set and the twine is from The Twinery.

The baby's face is from Peachy Keen Stamps sets:

Sweet Baby Banner & Card

Happy Wednesday!

A friend of mine asked me to make her a new baby banner. I had just purchased a new svg set from Lettering Delights and I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

The flags and ovals are from the Birthday Bash cart. The letters/font is from the Life's a party cart.

The papers are from DCWV and Core-dinations.

The cat, cow, and moon are from Lettering Delights, No Rhyme SVG set.

I just love the cow!

The new momma loved it! :)

I also made a matching card.

I pieced/welded the card together in Make-the-cut with Lettering Delights, No Rhyme SVG set.

Papers are from Papertrey Ink, Doodlebug Designs, and Core-dinations.

Peachy Keen Stamp's New Release Blog Hop!

WooHoo!

Today is the Peachy Keen New Release Blog Hop! Are you ready?!?

If you just got here from the amazingly fabulous Emma's Blog, then you are on the right track! If not please start here. Believe me... you don't want to miss anything.

There are two new sets of face stamps! My projects were made with set, PK-150 Face Accessories (includes glasses and mustaches and beards).

Here is my first project.

Don't you just LOVE his snazzy glasses!?!

I used some Diamond Glaze to give the effect of lenses.

My second project is a "Happy 1st tooth" card.

I used one of the mustaches from the set to give her a little hair!

It's a little difficult to see it under the bow... here is a closer look.

Last, but certainly not least my 3rd card!

Ahoy matey!

I love the glasses on the worm, but I think the this mustache and gouty are my favorite!

The new PK-150 Face Accessories set was designed to work with the everyday face assortment (PK-490) and the wide eyed kids (PK-450) they are color separated to show the size... the bottom row is 1"... up to the top row that will fit 1/2" faces in those sets. Then larger ones to the left on the packaging will fit the 1 3/8" characters in those sets. The pirate card above, is a exception to that rule, I was able to get the mustache & gouty to work with the PK-642- Boy Mates Assortment. Yay me! :)
