Today is day four of sneaks for My Creative Time's new releases. I have a fun Easter treat idea for you today. 

This was made with the new Treat Slider Box die.  Fun right!?! This new die set includes the box that holds 4 nuggets, a top that slides to cover them (not pictured), and two nugget wrappers (the scalloped one is not pictured).

The sentiment and bunny die are from the new set called,To My Best Peep.

Today is day 2 of sneak peeks for My Creative Time's February new releases. I made a simple Valentine's Day card with some of the newest dies.

My card measures 4" x 4". The doily and heart button die's were from yesterday's sneaks and the ticket die's and sentiments are from today's sneak.

Happy Monday!

Today is the first day of sneaks for My Creative Time! This release is going to knock your socks off! I cannot wait to share all of my projects with you!

Today's project is a birthday card.

The card measures 3" x 8.5". I took my cupcakes, created the design I wanted, and sized it to 8" tall. Then I created a .1600 shadow around it, I took two of these shadow layers and welded them together. That made the base of my card. The video below, shows how I put the card together in Make-the-Cut.

The sentiment is from the new release set called More of My Favorite Sayings.

Happy Birthday

Happy Friday!

I am so glad it's Friday! I have the next 10 days off and I am so excited. I have a few fun things planned and I long list of "not so fun" things too, but I am still thankful for the nice break. Hopefully, I can get caught up on some much needed sleep too.

I have a simple birthday card for you today.

The lion file is from Miss Kate Cuttables, don't you just love him? He was put together and then sized at 3.5" wide. The card base is 4.25" in diameter.

True Love - Designer's Challenge

Happy Thursday!

Today is the start of a new Designer's Challenge on the My Creative Time blog. The challenge is to use embossing, heat or dry...or both! I'm really bad about using my embossing folders, so I broke them out. 

I really love this heart embossing folder, truthfully, I think it's the first time I have ever used it. I think I am going to leave my folders next to my cuttlebug, hopefully, that will help remind me to use them more.

The card measure's 4.5"x 4.5". The insets are 4.25"square and 4" square. The bear was sized to 3" tall.

I Love You & a freebie

Happy Wednesday!

I have a kids valentine card and a freebie for you today.

I made this card for my nephew, he has a thing for trains and diggers. I would have used a train on this card, but his birthday is in March and I already have a cool idea with a train, so I started looking for a digger file. I found one right away on Miss Kate Cuttables website. Have you see their stuff? Super cute and super cheap, which is what I am all about.

I love these stitched heart dies from My Creative Time.

This flag/banner die & sentiment set has become my new favorite, if you frequent my blog you've probably noticed, it's from My Creative time too.

The card was sized to 5.5" wide and 8.4" tall. The inset pieces are 4.75"x 3.5" and 4.5"x 3.25". The digger was put together in MTC and then sized to 3.5" wide.

Happy Tuesday!

I have a super quick post for you today.

I made this card for a friends husband. He was born and raised in Hawaii and the gecko kind of reminded me of him and his Hawaiian style.

I love this svg set so much I that I made a couple more projects with it. I will be sharing those in the next week or so.

The shaped card was fairly easy to make. I layered the shapes/cuts together, when I was happy, I created a shadow layer behind it (blue piece). Then I took the blue piece and created another shadow layer around it (sized to .1425"). The card base was made with two of these shadow layers, welded together at the top. Then I placed all of the pieces together and sized the card to 5.5" wide and 7" tall. The gecko ends up measuring about 2.5"tall

Ground Hogs Day!

Happy Friday!

Tomorrow is Ground Hogs Day and I thought it would be fun to make a card in honor of the day. I did put a bit of a twist on it though... I also made it a "love" themed card.

The base of the card was made in Make-the-Cut with Basic Shapes. I am offering it as a freebie below. I sized it at 8.5" tall. The ground hog was sized at 3" tall. Actually, I think it is suppose to be a gopher, but think he/she works as a ground hog too. :)
