I just realized that I only have a few more days that I can post Easter cards. I decided that I needed to "hop to it!"

The base of this card was made from a tag from the Sugar and Spice cart, the frames are also from that cart, and the chick and egg are from Simply Charmed.

The papers are from Papertrey Ink and DCWV's Blossom stack.

The twine is from the Twinery.

The chicks face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-754 Critter Faces Set.

The sentiment stamp is from Emma's Color Me Happy stamp set.

Spring is Bliss

Happy Tuesday!

I have a super quick card for you today. I made this cute bird house card with Lettering Delights svg file called, Spring is Bliss.

I created a shadow layer around the bird house and then welded two of them together to form the base of the card.

I used Papertrey Ink and Core-dinations papers.

Some stitching around the house and a few dots and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Lettering Delights is having a huge sale right now, so if you use svg files and haven't checked them out yet, you should!

Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? The weather here in southern California was sunny, warm, and beautiful! I spent Friday night with my BFF, her hubby, and their daughter. We went to dinner at the chicken pie shop. Yum! Saturday, I spent the day at The Queen's

house, working on projects. She got a couple new carts and I kept having to steal borrow her Gypsy. Luckily, she loves me and she didn't mind... to much. :) Yesterday I spent the day doing laundry, cleaning, organizing, and  getting ready for the week ahead. Super exciting right?

I also want to say welcome to all my new followers.

I have some fun cards to share with you this week!

Here is the first one.

The base of the card and frame is from the Formal Occasions cart. There are a ton of really cool frames on this cart! The bunny's are from the Stretch Your Imagination cart.

The papers are Papertrey Ink, Core-dinations, and the patterned paper is one that I  stole borrowed from The Queen. :)

Don't you just LOVE Emma's stamps!?! This is from her Color Me Happy set.

Peachy Keen Stamps are super cool too! The bunny's faces are from PKS's new set called PK-440 Cute and Cuddly Face Assortment set. The twine is from The Twinery.

 Jenny's favorite holiday is Halloween and so I decided to make her a Halloween themed banner for her scrapbook area.

 I used the Birthday Bash and Happy Hauntings carts.

The papers are all from the DWVC Midnight Spell stacks.

The Flags measure 5", the headstones measure 4" and 3.5", and the letters are 3" tall.

I really like this font, but it doesn't have a shadow... :(

I strung it together with 6" black tulle. Have you seen all the new colors of tulle at Mike's?

Hanging with my Peeps Blog Hop!

Amanda asked everyone to create a project with peeps.

Here is a sneak peek of what I made...

Can you tell what it is?

Yes... yes I did! I know... but I was running out of time and I was in desperate need of something.
For those of you that still have no idea what I am talking about, I made a Peeps wreath. I wrapped 1" brown satin ribbon around a 8" foam wreath, that I purchased at Joann's.

I secured the ribbon with hot glue. BTW~ it only took, one spool of ribbon.

Then I started hot gluing the peeps to the wreath. I know... but I am not a huge fan of eating peeps, so it was no big deal for me to glue them down. Surprisingly, they didn't melt... I am not sure if that is a good or a bad thing. 

Here is the finished wreath.

Lucky for me I don't have an ant problem... although I may have one in the near future. :( I have no idea how well, or even if... it will hold up.

I have a couple more ideas of things to do with these fabulous little sugary treats. I will share them next week on my blog! So stay tuned peeps! (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

Hey Chickie!

Happy Thursday!

Woohoo! Two days until the weekend! Remember how I told you on Monday that I was feeling ahead of the game? Well, that lasted about 15 minutes. LOL This month has been crazy busy for me and I am hoping at some point I will be able to catch up longer then 15 minutes.

Today's post is a quick card that I made with 2 svg files that I purchased from  Lettering Delights. The sets are Peeps and Stuck on You, they have the cutest images on them!

The card is a frame that I created a shadow around. Then I took two of them and welded them together to form the base. The chick is from the Peeps set and the frame is from the Stuck on You set.

The papers are from Papertrey Ink, Doodlebug Designs,
 Core-dinations, and We Are Memory Keepers.

The stamped sentiment is from Emma's stamp set Color me Happy.

Sweet Baby Banner & Card

Happy Wednesday!

A friend of mine asked me to make her a new baby banner. I had just purchased a new svg set from Lettering Delights and I knew exactly what I wanted to do.

The flags and ovals are from the Birthday Bash cart. The letters/font is from the Life's a party cart.

 

The papers are from DCWV and Core-dinations.

The cat, cow, and moon are from Lettering Delights, No Rhyme SVG set.

I just love the cow!

The new momma loved it! :)

I also made a matching card.

I pieced/welded the card together in Make-the-cut with Lettering Delights, No Rhyme SVG set.

Papers are from Papertrey Ink, Doodlebug Designs, and Core-dinations.
