Finish it Friday - 1st Project - "You are Special" Mini Album

I joined the group "Finish it Friday" on Your Paper Pantry website. The goal of the group is to finish those projects that you started and never finished. This is my 1st project.

I started this mini album for my niece 4+ years ago. I never finished it and she turned 19 in December. :) The album was about 1/2 way completed. You can see the 1st video here.

I completed the album today. Yeah! :)  Below are the pictures of the completed album. You can see the video of completed album here.

On to Project #2!

Altered Frames

I have been making these frames for several years now. They are a quick and easy gift that can be easily tailored to the recipients taste.

Below are a few that I made for Valentine's gifts.

I purchased the wood frames at Michael's for $1 and all of the papers and embellishments are from the K and Company, Ka-Zoo line.

You can see my video tutorial  here

I also have a few Ka-Zoo mini kits left for purchase in my Etsy shop.

Photo Booth Album

I made several of these photo booth albums for Christmas presents and they were a huge hit. I decided to make a couple for gifts for Valentine's Day.  You can view the tutorial  here.

This is what you are going to need:

1. 5 or 6 sheets of patterned paper, either single or double sided is fine. These need to be cut to 5" x 8 1/2". They will be scored at 2 1/2".

2. 1 piece of heavier weight card stock for the front and back cover, these will need to be cut at 2 5/8" x 8 3/4". You will also need a contrasting piece for the spine, this will need to be cut at
1 3/4" x 8 3/4".  The spine will be scored at 3/4" and 1".

3. Glue, red tacky tape, or a ATG gun

4. Bone folder

5. Decorative edge punch or decorative scissors.

6. Embellishments for the cover.

Here is a close-up of the front cover embellishment  and the spine.

When I give these as gifts I also include a small tin full of photo corners, brads, stickers, die cuts, bling, ribbon, or anything that can be used to decorate the album.

If you try making one, I would love to see it. :)
