MCT 34nd Release Sneaks - Day 4

Happy Thursday!!!

It's the 4th day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking two new items: the Fun Speech Bubbles & Stitched Message Bubbles sets.

This was a super simple card. The blue back ground is Tempting Turquoise paper from Stampin Up! I used the Build A Chevy Background Stamp Set and Daffodil Delight ink, on Daffodil Delight paper to create the background on the top layer. The alligator was sized at 3.5" tall. The bubble and sentiment were both from the newest stamp/die set called Stitched Message Bubbles. I used Real Red SU ink in the speech bubble.


 I stamped the inside of the card with "Sorry I missed your Birthday!" .

MCT 34nd Release Sneaks - Day 3

Happy Wednesday!!!

It's the 3rd day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking two new items: Alpha Pack & Stitched Decorative Dies set.

I think I am falling in love with background stamps. I'm super excited about the new Alpha Pack stamps as well! I love option of being able to stamp my own sentiments. Oh the possibilities!

MCT 34nd Release Sneaks - Day 2

Happy Tuesday!!!

It's the 2nd day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking three new items: the Geo Borders & Trio Fun Banners & Dream Bigger sets.

I stamped one of the Geo Boarder stamps in SU's Smokey Slate ink. The hex shapes were cut with the med Stitched Hexy Die, out of SU's Bermuda Bay paper, and stamped with the polka dot stamp from the You Are Fabulous stamp set in Bermunda Bay ink.
The bee (Stitched Bees & Beehive Dies) and the word "Smile" (Happy Thoughts Stamp Set) were both cut out of SU's Daffodil Delight paper.

MCT 34nd Release Sneaks - Day 1

Happy Monday!!!

It's the 1st day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking three new items: the Grainy Background, Fun Letter Background & Large Cloud bubble die sets.

I took Grainy background and inked it with SU's craft ink (white), then I stamped it on some SU Tempting Turquoise paper. I used the new Cloud Bubble die backwards to create the "wave" look at the top. I stamped the sea weed with SU's Old Olive ink and the bubbles were stamped with SU's Tempting Turquoise, the stamps are from the Surf's Up Stamp Set. The turtle was cut at 2" tall, his body is SU's Wild Wasabi paper and his shell was cut out of Old Olive. The  speech bubble, the new Cloud Bubble die, was cut out of SU's Daffodil Delight paper.

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!!!

 Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday over on the My Creative Time blog. We had a sketch to follow this week, so I decided to make a 6x8 page for my album.  Since I'm busy with the boys albums and mine has been a bit neglected.

I love this photo of my sweet little Levi, so I used it. I'm in love with this fun paper from Echo Park, as well. I followed the sketch exactly with exception to the journaling flag, I used the largest Stitched Chevy Die for that.

Summer Treat

I hate to admit this, but this is the first time that I've used my airplane die! I've used the hot air balloon and clouds from the set, but never the airplane. I love how it turned out!

Thrifty Thursday

Happy Thursday!!!

 Today is Thrifty Thursday on the My Creative Time blog. I decided to play along and made a quick card.

I had some small scrap pieces of paper left over from a mini album that I had made for a friend. I was going to just throw them away, but I thought maybe I could salvage the pieces and make a card. It's super simple, but I like how it turn out.
