I made a fun Christmas card with the June 2013 stamp of the month stamp set. I just love these big eyed faces! 

My card measures 4.5"x 4.5". The inset pieces measure 3.5"x 3.5"and 3.25"x 3.25". I sized the mittens at 3.52" tall. 

This is what the inside of the card looks like, I used a sentiment from an older PKS set that is now retired.

My Creative Time November new release blog hop!

Today's card was made with the new Fun Variety on the Inside and Out Stamp Set and the
Fun Stitched Edge Dies.

My card measures 4 1/4"x 5" tall, the inset is 4" x 4 1/2", and I used the new small scalloped fun stitched edge die on both. The stocking cut is from the silhouette store, I sized it at       3 3/4" tall. The face was stamped with my favorite PKS face stamp.

I stamped the inside with a sentiment from the new Fun Variety on the Inside and Out Stamp Set. I also use the new small scalloped fun stitched edge die on the bottom of the green polka dot paper, for a more finished look.

Day 2 - Sneaks for MCT November Release

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is day two of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's November releases. 

So for today's sneaks, I played with the new die set "Fun Stitched Edge Dies", there are six different edge designs! So fun! I also used the new stamp set called, Fun Variety on the Inside and Out Stamp Set. The new "In and Out" stamp set has sentiments for the front and inside of the card!

The base of the card measures 4 1/4" x 5". The white grid paper measures 4 1/4"x 4 1/2" and the blue, 4 1/4"x 3 3/4". The sailboat was sized to  2 3/4" tall. 

I stamped the inside with the "inside" part of the sentiment. I love having the option to stamp the inside of the card as well. :)

Day 1 - Sneaks MCT November Release

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is the first day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's new releases.

I am showcasing the new Fun Sized Scalloped Stitched Bow! I got the inspiration for this card from my actual holiday decorations. I have something similar to this that hangs on my kitchen door every year. I made it several years ago, after I found the huge jingle bells at Michael's. 

I made a quick holiday card. I used the Stitched 3x4 Journal Die
as my inset piece. I cut my card base at 3 3/8"x 8 3/4"  and added some silver stitching all the way around. The bells are from the Warm Holiday Fun Stamp Set. 

I stamped the inside of the card with a sentiment from the From Our Family To Yours Stamp Set.

Totally Treats Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is Totally Treats Tuesday over on the My Creative Time blog and I thought I would share a treat that I made for my bestie to give to her hubby for turkey day. :)

I found these metal bucket's in the $1 Spot in Target a couple months ago and grabbed one of each color. I wasn't totally sure what I wanted to do with them, but hey, they were only a $1 and they were the perfect size for a small gift.

I made a silly turkey face (in MTC), cut him out in vinyl, and applied him to the front of the bucket. Then I filled the bucket with Chex Mix and tied it closed with some twine. I made the tag with a few of MCT's dies and the newest Teeny Tag Holidays stamp set.

Winter Holiday Tag - MCT Designer Challenge

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is the start of an all new Designer's Challenge over on the My Creative Time blog. I thought it would be fun to play along this time, so I made a fun Christmas tag.

The base tag is the scalloped Tag Die. The smaller tag is the Stitched Round Tab & Tag Die

and the numbers are from the Stitched 4 x 6 Journal Die. 

The month stamp is from the Type Calendar Stamp Set. I sized the reindeer at 2.6" tall, cut him out, and attached him with some foam tape.

3D Wednesday!

Today is 3d Wednesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I have a quick and fun gift giving idea for you today.

These little hand sanitizer's are a inexpensive and easy gift to give. It's always fun to dress them up a bit too... it makes them a bit more special for the person who receives it.

The wrap and pumpkin are both cuts from Scrapping Bug Designs. The teeny tag and sentiment are from My Creative Time.

I think these would be perfect gifts for people at work or for teacher's/school staff.  Especially, during cold and flu season.

Inspire Me Tuesday!

Today is Inspire Me Tuesday on the My Creative Time blog and I thought I would play along. I saw this card & sketch over on the 2Peas site about a year ago. I pinned it, thinking I would play along, but never found the time.  When I was looking for some inspiration for today's project, I found it in my pins and decided to finally play along.

I challenged to myself to use only My Creative Time products. I love how it turned out, but now looking at it, I wish I would have added one or two of the Stitched Button Dies.

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday on the My Creative Time blog. 

I've been working on Zachary's album, trying hard to keep it up to date. September and October where busy months, picture-wise anyway, so I have a lot to do. Today's page is page one of a two page spread about his 1st time at a Padre's baseball game. 

Here's a close-up of my journaling cards.  I was able to find clip art of a bat online and I traced it in MTC and sized it to 2 3/4" tall.  The ball is a 1/2" circle, I drew the stitching on with a red pen.

Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday over on the My Creative Time blog. I made another page for Zachary's album.

I used the We R Memory Keepers 4x4 page protectors. I cut the page down so that there were only 4 pockets instead of 9.

I love this little pumpkin! It's super easy to make with the egg die, banner die, and teeny tag die. Now that I look at it, I think I am going to go back and add a leaf or two. The small leaf die from the Piles Of Smiles set, should work perfectly.
