Happy Tuesday!

Have you seen the new Stringbeans Simple Shape Bundle collection at Lettering Delights? There are 38 sets and boy are they fun! They are perfect for car decals, but they can be used for so much more then just that! You can add color to them, layer them, make cards, and kids craft projects too! I have a few more projects in the works, that I will share with you in the next couple days. 

This card was made with the Patriotic set. 

I just love this eagle. You may see him a few more times before July 4th rolls around. The papers on this card are from PaperTrey Ink, We are Memory Keepers, and Core'dinations. The red, white, and blue twine is from here.

Day 2 of My Creative Time's New Release sneaks!

Today is day two of My Creative Time's new release sneaks! This month is "mini" release, as their is only two coordinating sets of stamps and a set of coordinating dies. 

I made a card for this sneak.

 The balloon is a svg file from the Allouette set by Lettering Delights. The clouds are from the new die set called, Fly Away With Me Dies. I made the base frame in  Make-the-Cut by welding a rectangle and oval together.

The papers are from PaperTrey Ink and Echo Parks, A boy's Life collection.

 This sentiment is from the new set called "Fly Away With Me Sentiments".

Happy Thursday!

I have another quick and fun shaped card for you today.

 

 The wagon is from Lettering Delights newest set called, Rag Doll. I opened it in  Make-the-Cut, sized it at 5" wide, and then created a shadow layer. I took two of the shadow layers and welded them together on the left side, this formed the base of the card.  

The papers are from PaperTrey Ink and Core'dinations. The green jute twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The "Hello" is from My Creative Time's,  Floral Sentiments stamp set and the tag is from the Teeny Tag Greetings.

Guess what?

My Creative Time's 3-D Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!

Today is 3-D day on the My Creative Time blog.

Since Father's Day is right around the corner, Emma thought today would be a great day to make some Father's Day Projects. I made this snazzy little shirt gift box.

 This gift box file can be purchased from here. It was fairly simple to size, cut out, and put together. Mine finished at 3 1/2" wide, 5" tall, and 2" deep. Perfect for a small gift or gift card.

 The papers I used are from DCWV's Tahitti Beach Stack.

The tag is from My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings. The "daddy" stamp is from the You're My Best Buddy stamp set.

I have a quick card for you today.

 

 Ever since this Tiny Tweets svg set came out I have been itching to make something with one of the cuts. I finally had some time this last Sunday. I had a hard time choosing which birdie to cut first, but this one holding the flower worked perfectly with the sentiment. The funny shaped "top note" was found in Lettering Delights Cut-it-Set called, Queen of our Castle.

 

 The sentiment is from My Creative Time's Floral Sentiments stamp set. The flower was made with the small flower die from the Flower Petal dies.  The yellow jute twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, Core'dinations, and SEI.

Monday Madness Challenge!

Happy Monday!

Today is "Monday Madness...Imagine That!" over at Emma's blog. 

The challenge this month is to create anything that comes to mind, that make you happy. Basically, anything that brings you happiness. You can create a card, layout, home decor.. anything. You must incorporate Emma's stamps or dies into your project and you must use pattern paper.

I made a fun little home decor item.

 Sewing and fabric make me happy, very happy, so I thought a fun little spool of thread would be the perfect project for this challenge.

 The flower was made with all three of My Creative Time's Flower Petal dies. I also used some pink Smooch spritz to give it some sparkle.

The "Love" is from My Creative Time's, Have Fun in the Sun stamp set and the tag is from the Teeny Tag Greetings.

 

 All of the embellishments are from my stash. Most of it is from Making Memories and there are a few odds and ends that I have collected here and there. The colored hemp twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique. The papers are from Core'dinations and Echo Park's "Hello Summer" line. The thread spool is a box, the top part slips off to reveal a place foe a small gift inside.  The svg file can be purchased from here. The yellow yarn was in my yarn stash.

Zombie Love Blog Hop!

Welcome to the "Zombie Love" blog hop! 

My friend Candace and I are both HUGE fans of the show "The Walking Dead" and we thought it would be fun to host a "Zombie" blog hop.

We asked everyone in the hop to make projects that focus on "love". Just in case you have a special someone in your life, that just happens to love zombies too!


I made a card.

Zombie Bob is a file from Lettering Delights called, Zombie Land. He was cut at 3 1/4" tall. I printed the sentiment with my computer/printer. The jute burlap is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

The cards measures 5" wide x 4" tall. The papers are from Core'dinations and PaperTrey Ink.

The brain is also from Zombie Land, it was cut at 1 /34" tall.
