Inspire Me

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is "Inspire Me" day on the My Creative Time blog. I used this card as inspiration. 

I used a Heidi Swapp stencil and some kraft ink on some kraft paper, to create the background paper. The pineapple is from the Berry Special set and I water colored it with distress ink. The banner is from the Mini Chalkboard Tags Stamp Set and the sentiment was made with the Alpha Pack Stamp Set.

My Creative Time August Release Week - Day 4

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is the fourth day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time August releases. The stamp and die set we are sneaking today is called, "Spooky Time".

I made another fun treat bag for my project today. I took a 4 x 4 piece of paper and stamped it randomly with a few of the small stamps from today's sneak set. Then I used one of the Fun Stitched Edges along the bottom and scored it  2 1/4" up, that created the topper.  The yellow tag is from the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies and it's stamped with a sentiment from today's sneak set. The cat is a die from the new set as well, I gave him some jewel eyes for fun.

My Creative Time August Release Week - Day 3

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is the third day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time August releases. The stamp set we are sneaking today is called, "Happy Haunting". This set is this weeks "freebie" set. All you have to do, to get it for free, is place an order this Friday when the release goes live and it will be added to the first 100 orders placed. If you're not one of the first 100 orders, don't panic, you will be able to purchase it.

I have a couple more treats to share with you today. I used two of the sentiments from the new Happy Haunting set. I used the "EEEK!" stamp to make a patterned paper for the box and envelope. I stamped it randomly all over some black paper and then heat embossed it with some matte clear embossing powder and heat set it. It gave the "eeek!" a raised, but dull effect.  The sentiment on the orange banner is also from the new set. 

I used the Stitched Treat Sleeve Die and one of the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies to create the window. The ghost is from the Stitched Spooky Ghost Dies and the banner is from the Sentiment Label Dies. The sentiment is from today's sneak set.

My Creative Time August Release Week - Day 2

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is the second day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time August releases. The stamp ad die set we are sneaking today is called, "Gobble Gobble".

I made another fun fall themed treat today. I used the bottom part of the Treat Slider Box Die. I stamped the kraft paper with the Grainy Wood Background Stamp - REVISED,

so that it would look more like a box full of pumpkins. Then I cut and crimped some green and brown paper to fill in around the pumpkins. I slid it inside the 4x8 clear bag and then tied it shut with some twine. The tag was made with the largest of the Sentiment Label Dies. The background stamp, pumpkin, banner, and sentiment are all from the new Gobble Gobble set that will be available this Friday starting at 8am PST.

My Creative Time August Release Week - Day 1

Happy Monday!!!

Today is the first day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time August releases. The first stamp and die set we are sneaking is called "Candy Corn".

I've been wanting to make these cute little broom treats for a couple years now. I think they are so cute! I purchased some chocolate licorice and placed two pieces inside each 1" x 7" clear bag. You can put just one, but two filled the bag out better. Then I stamped some green paper with the Fun Polka Dots stamp and then used it to cut out the #3 banner from the Sentiment Label Dies. Lastly, I stamped it with one of the sentiments from the new set being sneaked today and then attached each banner at the top of the bag with the tiny attacher.

I made the bottom of the broom with a piece of 2" x 4" paper. I cut a line every 1/4" down the 4" length, I left a area along the top about 1/2" wide where I did not cut. I secured it around the bottom of the licorice with some glue. Lastly, I attached the twine and the spider. He came from the Wicked Fun Dies & Stamp Set - Revised.

What a Treat

Happy Wednesday!!!
Today is "What a Treat" day on the My Creative Time blog. I made some cupcake toppers for some out of town friends. My bestie has a 34' boat and whenever family comes into town they always stay on the boat. We always go down, before they come, and clean/prep the boat for them. So this time I thought it would be fun to have some cupcakes waiting for them. 

I used the large Scalloped Stitched Rosette Die. The banner from the The Sky is the Limit Stamp Set and the sentiment is from the Hey Sailor Stamp Set - REVISED. The pineapple is from the new set Berry Special and it was water colored with Distress Ink.

Happy Monday!!!
Today is Made in Minutes day over on the My Creative Time blog. I made this quick card with the Stitched Chunky Jar Dies and the sentiment is from the new Just a Note set. I used one of the background stamps from the Spring Chicken Backgrounds Stamp Set to make the pattern, so that the cover for the jar looks like fabric.
