Spring Fever Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday!

Welcome to the Spring Fever Blog Hop!

If you are here from Momo's blog then you are on the right track. If you would like to start from the beginning click here to go to Jillian's blog.

Jillian asked us to make a bright, fun, springy project. I decided to make a banner that said "spring".
The ovals are from the Birthday Bash cart, they were cut at 4 1/2".
The letters were cut at 3 3/4". I used Make-the-Cut and my Cricut to cut them out.

The font is LD Red Hatter's Hand.
The flowers were cut from the Walk in my Garden cart at 3 1/2". I also used 6" wide white tulle to string the banner together.

So no blog hop would be complete with out some sort of blog candy!

I am giving away a set of Peachy Keen, PK-451 Wide Eyed Kids 1 1/8" stamps.

All you have to do to be entered to win is:
1. Become a follower, if not already.

Happy Monday!

Did you have a nice weekend? I  spent Saturday with three of my favorite people. We had a great day together, lots of catching up, and laughs. Yesterday, I spent the day working on projects for this week. I had to finish up a couple projects for some blog hops that I am in this week and Friday there is a new challenge on Peachy Keen's challenge blog and I was able to get that project finished up too.
I also was able to make a card for today.
I love this little leprechaun from the Simply Charmed cart.
I used my Gypsy to weld two labels together, from the Lacy Labels cart, to create the card. The leprechaun was cut at 3 3/4".
I attached the leprechaun to the card with a Action Wobble and the twine is from The Twinery.

The face on my Leprechaun is from the PK-470 Happy New Year Face Assortment.

Here is a quick video!

I was so busy last week that I never got a chance to announce my winner for Joy's B-day Bash Blog Hop!

The winner is Cathie!!!!!

A new week and a new banner!

Happy Tuesday!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! It was so nice having yesterday off, I was able to spend the day with the Queen. :) We went to lunch and then spent the afternoon working on projects.

I was able to get a project finished that I have been working on for a friend. Her birthday was Saturday and I had wanted to post it on Saturday but, I ran out of time and was unable to get it finished/posted.

Have you been to Joy's Website? If not you need to check it out! She makes lots of cool crafty projects.
Joy has a thing for strawberries. I based the design of the banner on the birthday card that I made her.
I used Kraft card stock from Michael's for the tags. They measure 5" and were cut from the
Gypsy Wanderings.
The strawberry was cut at 2.75" from the Paisley cart.
The letters are from the Simply Sweet cart, they were cut at 2.75".

Here is a quick view of the card I made her.
Happy Birthday Joy!
I hope that you had a wonderful day!
(Your banner and card are in the mail.)

I will be choosing a winner tonight for the B'day Party Blog Hop. If you haven't left a comment yet, you still have time! Click here.

See you back here tomorrow! I hope you have a wonderful day!

**Giveaway Closed** Joy's B'day Blog Hop

Happy Saturday!

Welcome to Joy's B'day Blog Hop! We have lots of fun things planned for you today! If you have arrived here from Kyle's blog then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning click here to go to Joy's Blog.

First off, I want to wish Joy a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I made her a strawberry card... she has a thing for strawberries!

So let's get on to my project shall we?

I have a good friend who asked me to make a birthday banner for her little girl. She is having a "Mad Hatter Tea Party" themed birthday party and so I tailored the banner around that.
The banner is fairly big so it is hard to see all the details from far away. You can click on the photo, to open it up larger.
I designed everything on my Gypsy. The tags are from the Sugar and Spice cart and cut at 5" the font is from the Simply Sweet cart and cut at 2 1/2".
The papers are from the Cosmo Cricket line Delovely.
The rosette's measure 3" in diameter.

The tea pot and tea cup are from the A Child's Year cart. The flower is the flower on the hippo on the Create a Critter cart and the twine can be found/purchased here.

So no blog hop would be fun with out a little blog candy!
Joy has graciously donated a set of her All Around Sentiments Stamps.

Rolled Flower Tutorial!

So after last nights mini disaster on our PP&P Ustream, Alex and I decided that we would make another video demoing how to make the rolled flowers.

These super cute and easy flowers can be found on Shelly's blog. She offers the cut file for purchase for a $1.00. You will need to have either, Make-the-Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot to cut them out. Well worth the $1.00 investment! Thanks to Shelly for coming up with the awesome svg file.

Here are a few pictures of the finished flowers.

Here is the video that we made showing how to make make them.

Don't forget we still have a giveaway going on for a set of Robyn's
My Pink Stamper Stamps CLICK HERE.

Thanks for watching! See you tomorrow!

**Giveaway Closed** Popcorn, Pj's, and Projects Ustream Recap!

Happy Wednesday!

Whew! Alex and I had so much fun last night at our Popcorn, PJ's and Projects Ustream! Thanks so much for everyone that attended! We ended up broadcasting for an hour longer then we had planned, a total of 4 hours, so thanks to everyone to hung out with us for that extra hour! If you missed it, you are in luck because we recorded it! Here's the link. :)

As we promised, below are pictures (in order) of all the projects that we made and all the sponsor links and blog info.

First up was Alex's decorative votive holder.
Pretty no?
Alex designed this votive candle holder using PSA Essential products! If you are interested in purchasing PSA they have an exclusive offer for our viewers! Isn't that AWESOME!  Go to...2 PREPPY GIRLS.com and received 10% OFF all PSA Essential Products. Just enter the code: CRAFTERS at checkout. The offer expires midnight 2/28.

Next up was the rolled roses...
I found the cut file for these super cute and easy flowers on Shelly's blog. She offers the cut file for purchase for a $1.00. You will need to have either, Make-the-Cut or Sure Cuts A Lot to cut them out.

We had some technical difficulties, getting the roses together, during the Ustream. They are super easy to make... once you make a few of them. Alex and I are planning to make another quick video showing how to make them. We will have it posted by the end of the day.
Next up were these super cute favor boxes...

Unfortunately, I cannot claim this super cute project as my own idea. I found it on Tamara's super cute blog.

She  has a tutorial showing how to make them and she even gives you the cut file, of the box, for free! WooHoo! Makes the box that much cuter huh?

This one is for St. Patrick's Day!
I put 2 small "fun" sized candy bars in each box. I also used Peachy Keen stamps for the bunny and leprechaun's faces. I used the PK-450 Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment

for the bunny's face and the PK-470 Happy New Year Face Assortment for the leprechaun's face. Both the bunny and the leprechaun were cut from the Simply Charmed cart at 4".

Thanks so much to Kathy and Angelica at Peachy Keen Stamps for sponsoring us and donating two assortment sets! Love you girls! :)

Next up was Alex's "Transformer" Stationary box...
 It opens up to this!
Can you believe it? I know! So cool right?
This Terrific Stationary Box, which Alex dubbed  "the transformer stationary box"  was originally designed by Jackie Topa @ Split Coasters Stampers. It looks complicated by it really isn't.  I just had to share it with you! My version came together in about 30 minutes, however I was LAUGHING so hard at the chatters on the Ustream, it took a little longer. You might want to check out her awesome and super detailed tutorial and video!
Check it out HERE!
Last but certainty not least... I made my super fantastic co-host a gift...
It's a personalized etched casserole dish. I purchased the dish at Wal-mart for $7 and used some vinyl, my Gypsy, Cricut, and some etching cream. I put her last name on one side and chickens on the other! It came out so cute and Alex loves it. Well... at least that is what she said. :)

I want to thank Super Joy at joyslife.com for sponsoring us and donating a Vinylology DVD

Cricut* Vinylology DVD
