Thank You

Happy Monday!!!
Today is "Make it in Minutes" Monday, over on the My Creative Time blog. This week we we also were asked to use a specific color scheme. I opted to use just one of the colors, as I was also trying to be "thirfty". I has some left over pieces of green and white card stock laying on my desk so I challenged myself to make a card with them.
Thanks
The card measures 3.5" x 3.5", the green piece is 3.25" x 3.25", and the top white piece is 3" x 3".  I used the smallest circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies on the white top piece and the largest circle die from the Picture Perfect Stamp Set, for the circle on the green piece.

I think I am going to make 3 more, just like this, in different colors and give them as a set. What a cute gift!
Thanks

MCT 36nd Release Sneaks - Day 3

Happy Wednesday!!!

WooHoo! It's the 3rd day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking the new stamp & die set called A Thankful Heart.
Thanksgiving
I made a fun flip card with the shaped label from the Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies & More
set and then decorated it with one of the leaf dies and a sentiment from the A Thankful Heart set. Flip cards are super easy to make! I even made a video, so you could see how to do it.

Hopefully, that's pretty clear. Let me know if you have any questions.

MCT 36nd Release Sneaks - Day 2

Happy Tuesday!!!

WooHoo! It's the 2nd day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking two new sets, the Wicked Fun Dies and Trick or Treat Stamp set. I made two cards again today. I had two different ideas rolling around in my head so I made both.
Happy Halloween
I used the spider web die and embossed  the white paper with it. It's super easy to do and I love the way it looks! I used some Wink of Stella on the embossed web sections, it makes the web sparkle kinda like a real spider web. I added a little to the spider too.
Eeek!
For this card I cut off the web that was attached to the spider and added him directly to the web. I also made the Eeek! sentiment with the Alpha Pack Stamp Set.
Happy Halloween Eeek!
Paper: Papertrey Ink (White) & Echo Park, Happy Halloween

Today is my dt day over on the Timeless Twine blog. I'm sharing a super quick and easy treat idea with you today! I found these cute 1 1/8" test tubes on Etsy and they just happen to be the perfect size to hold mini oreos! I made quick tag and then tied it around the top of the tube with some twine! Tada! Easy and so cute!

We were asked to use these colors this month in our projects.
Aren't these colors gorgeous together?

MCT 36nd Release Sneaks - Day 1

Happy Monday!!!

WooHoo! It's the 1st day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking the new die set called Stitched Rectangle Frame Dies & More. We have been pre-sneaking the rectangles from this set all month. I've used mine so much, that they have never made it back into the bag that they came in.
Congrats
Normally when I design cards with dies, I lay out the dies or the actual shapes that have already been cut out of scrap paper. Once I am happy with the design, then I find my papers and put the card/project together. While I was laying the above card out, I kept thinking of a movie poster from a famous old movie. So with a bit of encouragement from  friend, I ended up making two cards.
Congrats
Can you figure out what movie poster I was thinking of?
Yes, I realize that it's a seriously dark card, but I really like how it came out! If your having trouble figuring out the movie, click here.
Congrats Congrats

Frightening!

Happy Thursday!!!
IMG_0250-1
Today is "Thrifty Thursday" over on the My Creative Time blog. I had several pieces of white scrap card stock sitting on my desk and I thought... wonder if I can I make a card with just that and some stamps and a die or two? I was able to find a small piece of vellum, in my scrap box, so I used that to back the ghost shape. I stamped the face with a peachy and then stamped the sentiment. I went back and forth on wether to add color to the ghost's face, but I think I like it colorless.

Magic Poop

Happy Wednesday!!!
Poop Magic
Today is Inspiration Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I found this super cute pillow on Pinterest a couple months ago. When Emma came out the the Alpha Pack Stamp SetI knew that I wanted to use it for "inspiration". I cut the unicorn at 3.5" tall. I used Wink of Stella on her mane, tail, and horn. They are really sparkly but it doesn't show up in the photos very well.

Spooky Starry Night!

Happy Tuesday!!!
Starry Night
Today is "Try me Tuesday" over on the My Creative Time blog. Our "try me" this week is to create a card using a "Faux Embossing" technique. It's actually a stamping technique, that you can see here. I used the background stamp from the Spooky Starry Night Stamp SetI love this technique, it really does look like the paper is embossed.

I created the sentiment window with a die that is being released at the end of the month. I can't wait to show you more!

Believe in Yourself

Happy Tuesday!!!

Hey twiney friends! Today is my day over on the Timeless Twine blog. So.... with all the kiddo's going back to school, I'm in "school" mode. For today's project I made a book mark. I cut 6 - 26" length pieces of twine, two of each color.  Then I strung them through, folded them together, in half, and knotted them. Then I did a fishtail braid. I braided the twine until it was the same length as the bookmark and then knotted it and snipped the ends off, so that they were straight.
1-1
Below are the twine colors we were challenged to work with this month. I used three of the five.
You could also make these for your Filofax/planer. Just punch holes in the left side of the bookmark/tag and add it to your planner.
