Peachy Keen Stamps Let's Face it Friday Challenge #30!

Happy Friday!

Today starts an all new Peachy Keen Stamps, Let's Face it Friday challenge. This is my last project, as a design team member, and the last challenge of 2011 for Peachy Keen Stamps. I can't wait to see what the new team and the new year of challenges brings.

This challenge is a color challenge.
I made this home decor item. It is a wall hanging that holds photos. It is made with a 5 x 7 metal roofing tin. They can be purchased at Home Depot in the roofing/sheet metal section.
The little girl is a svg cut from The Nutcracker set from My Scrap Chick. I used Peachy Keen Stamps PK-640 Princess Face Assortment, for her face.
I used My Creative Time's XL Label die, the Boarder stamp is from Whimsical Calendar Days, and the sentiment is from the My Favorite Saying's set.
I borrowed this fun idea from my super talented friend and My Creative Time dt sister, Liz, from Liz's Paper Loft. Our amazing dt sister Katie, from Crafting with Katie has made a few too. I made a ton more for Christmas presents. I hope everyone likes them!

So let's get on to the challenge requirements, shall we?
Guidelines:
Your project must contain the above colors.
Design must be new.
Project must include PKS Faces.
Link up by 1/12 - 11:59 pm CDT

PRIZE: Will be announced on the PKS blog.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Snowman Kisses!

Happy Thursday!

Only a couple more days until Christmas. I have been trying to avoid the stores, but every  time I turn around I need to run to the store for this or that. Hopefully, fingers crossed, today will be my last trip to the store until well after Christmas day.

I have another fun favor/gift for you today.

I used the new svg set called December Gifts, from SVG Cuts.com.
The papers are from Echo Park's Holly Jolly Christmas collection. The twine is from Trendy Twine.
The snowman bear is a svg cut from Lettering Delights new set called  Nancy Happy Holiday Cut-it-Set. He's sweet little face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-670 Rag Doll &Teddy Face Assortment.
The snowman kisses stamp is from Jaded Blossom's Snowman Kisses stamp set. The tag was a last weeks SVG Cuts.com's freebie.
I think it turned out pretty cute!

Rudolph Spares

Happy Wednesday!

So as we are inching our way closure and closer to Christmas, I thought I would share another fun Christmas "favor" with you today.
This one involves chocolate... my favorite!
The Rudolph is a svg cut from Lettering Delights new set called  Nancy Happy Holiday Cut-it-Set. Nancy Kubo designed this set, she is that same person who designed the Create a Critter cart for Provo Craft. The tag shape was last weeks "freebie" from SVGCuts.com.
I used 1x8 clear bags, to hold the M&M's, they can be purchased from here from Jaded Blossom and the Rudolph Spares stamp is from the Reindeer Magic stamp set.

See you tomorrow!

Santa Baby...

Happy Tuesday!

Five more days until the big day... are you ready? I'm not. :) I am headed out today to try and finish up my shopping. I still have a ton of things to make and all my wrapping to do, but I will worry about all that stuff tomorrow. Wish me luck today, I am going to need it!

I have a super quick and fun card for you today!
When I saw this svg set, Kate's Holiday Silhouette's, from SVG Cuts.com, I knew that I needed it. It has some of the cutest silhouette cuts on it. I have a friend who dresses up like a sexy Mrs. Claus each Christmas (Hi Tracie!) and I knew that I had to make her a card with this cut.
The papers are PaperTrey Ink, DCWV, and We R Memory Keepers, Peppermint Twist Collection. The twine is from Trendy Twine. The card measures 3.5" wide by 5" tall. The girl was cut at 4.5" tall. The boarder was punched with the Treading Water punch from Fiskars.
 I hope she likes it!

 See you back here tomorrow!
I hope you have a great day!

Snowman Poop!

Happy Monday!

...and so the countdown begins! I am so not ready for Christmas this year, but it's coming whether I am ready or not. I always like to make small gifts/treats for my friends kids and the neighbor kids. A couple weeks ago Jaded Blossom released two of the cutest "favor" stamp sets. Which made making all these Christmas treats so much easier!
I bought some white Tic-Tac's and created covers with designer paper. The snow bunny is a svg cut from Lettering Delights new set called  Nancy Happy Holiday Cut-it-Set.
The Snowman Poop stamp is from the Snowman Kisses stamp set.
There are several videos tutorials on You-Tube showing how to make these. Just search Tic-Tac cover.

The papers are from DCWV and Papertrey Ink.
The tag was made from My Creative Time's Build a Banner kit and the Mixed Holiday Sentiment stamps.

SVG Attic "Gifts from the Heart" Blog Hop!

Happy Saturday!

If you are looking for Peachy Keen Stamps, Let's Face it Friday Challenge, click here.

Good morning and welcome to the SVG Attic, Gift's from the Heart, blog hop!

If you have arrived from Jessica's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

The theme of this blog hop is "Gifts from the heart". I created a small gift that I think  anyone would enjoy.
The box that contains 2 small heart hand warmers.
The box is from SVGAttic.com's Cookies for Santa Collection. I re-sized the box to 3.5" x 3.5".
Two heart warmers fit perfectly inside the box.
The warmers are filled with rice. All you have to do is pop them in the microwave for a minute or two and then place them in your coat pockets. Just what is needed for those COLD winter mornings!
The tag was made with My Creative Time's Build a Banner Kit and Mixed Holiday Sentiments stamps.

The heart warmers were really simple to make.
All you need is:
1. Fleece fabric
2. Heart Template (mine measured 3.25")
3. Sewing Machine
4. Rice
5. Funnel

First take the heart pattern and cut 4 hearts out of your fleece.
Then place two of the hearts together and stitch all the way around the heart, close to the edge. Make sure that you leave a 1" opening so that you can insert the rice.
This is where your funnel and rice come in.
Take the funnel and place it into the opening in the side of your heart. The slowing add rice until your heart is full. I think I used about 2 1/2TBL spoons of rice in each heart. You can also add a small drop of Essential Oil to rice if you want to. I added a bit of Lavender oil to my hearts.
Then stitch the hearts closed. That's it!

These make the BEST gifts. You can also make larger ones that can be used for the neck or lower back area, as well.

So no blog hop would be complete without some sort of blog candy and Jessica is giving out two $50 gift certificates for the SVG Attic.com store. Winners will be chosen via random.org and announced on Monday.

All you have to do is leave a comment on this post. Make sure you hop to each blog on the hop and leave a comment at each stop!

SVG Attic is also having a 50% off sale. Enter the code "GIFT" at checkout.

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 10

Happy Saturday!

Today is day 10 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.
Today's project is a Christmas Pocket!
My pocket is holding two chocolate Santa's, but think of all the things that you could fill this cute pocket with!
The pocket is an svg file from The Cutting Cafe. It's made out of Bazzill card stock and the XL Label is punched out of PaperTrey Ink paper. The ribbon is from my stash.
I used My Creative Time's XL Label DieAll Around Accessories stamps set, and the XL Labels Boarders stamp set for the tag on the front. I used stickels to make Santa's coat sparkle.
