MCT 38nd Release Sneaks - Day 3

Happy Wednesday!!!

WooHoo! Today is the 3rd day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking the new die and stamp sets called  Snow Buddies and Winter Snowman Dies.

I made a quick hot coco treat, with a bag of instant coco and a candy cane. My instant coco had marshmallows in it already, but it would be cute to add some marshmallows to the bag as well. Maybe even stamp the snowman face, from the Snow Buddies set, onto the side of each marshmallow.  Now... that would be super cute! You can find edible markers here.

I tried to make Frosty the Snowman, but he looked kind of naked without any clothes.. so I added the scarf. Ha!

MCT 38nd Release Sneaks - Day 2

Happy Tuesday!!!

WooHoo! Today is the 2nd day of sneaks for this months MCT new release's! Today we are sneaking two new die and Stamp sets called Stitched Window Dies & Accessories and

Window Sentiments and Flowers.

OMGosh! This window die is so much fun and there are sooooo many possibilities for it! I have friends who just bought a new home and so I made them a card that looks like their house, I even included their sweet doggie. 

I added 3-d flowers, just too see what they would look like. I love how they turned out. The flowers are from the Way To Go Stamp Set, the small leaves are from the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies, and the small circle in the center of the flowers is from the Loyal Friends Stamp Set.

Place Card Holder

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is Tag it Tuesday on the My Creative Time blog. A couple weeks ago I purchased a large amount of wine corks from Etsy.  I have grand plans for them... so since I have a ton I thought, that I might use them for my Thanksgiving table setting as place card holders. I made a slit with my exacto knife along the top of each cork and then placed the name tag in the slit.

 I made the name tags with Stitched Round Tab, Arrow & Tag Dies and A Thankful Heart Stamp Set. I used Timeless Twine's gorgeous Autumn Splendor twine, it's perfect for fall projects! It's on sale right now too! Only $4.50 for a spool! Get it here!

Today is Trending Thursday over on the My Creative Time blog. This weeks "trend" is "Graphic Word Art". I clear embossed the sentiment on a piece of white paper and then used some water, a paint brush, and my Tangelo Twist stamp pad and water colored over the embossed image. Once the watercolor dried, I placed a piece of scratch paper over the image/watercolor and ran my iron (med heat) over it for a few seconds. When I pulled the scratch paper away, the embossing was on the back of the scratch paper, so my water color piece was just the watercolor. Cool trick huh?

Grateful Treat

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is What a Treat Wednesday over on the My Creative Time Blog. I made this quick and easy "Grateful" treat. I think I am going to make these for my clients for Thanksgiving. I used the base piece from the Treat Slider Box Die, filled it with seasonal kisses, slid it into a pretzel bag, and closed it with some twine and a tag.
