St. Patrick's Day Kitty!

Happy Monday!

I have another fun Hello Kitty freebie for you today. I found this St. Patty's Day kitty and knew that I had to cover her. Can you believe it's almost St. Patrick's Day?!? This year is just flying by, for me anyway.

Anyhoo... lets get back to today's card shall we?
1-1
I made her into a shaped card. She was sized to 4"tall. I created a .1425 shadow layer around her and then welded two of them together, for the base of the card. I added the shamrock die, from My Creative Time, and a bit of twine to her hat for added effect. Add a bit of white stitching and there you have it, a quick and easy St. Patty's day card.
IMG_8357-1
I also stamped a sentiment on the inside of the card.
2-2
Paper: PaperTrey Ink, Core'dinations
Kitty SVG: Freebie - See below
Shamrock Die & Sentiment: My Creative Time, You're My Pot Of Gold Stamp Set
Twine: The Twinery

Winners Friday!

Happy Friday!

My post is up a bit late today, but I do have the winner from Tuesday's post!

I want to quickly talk about the magazine. I've heard a lot of people say and even ask me if the subscription to the magazine is worth the money. I think the price of the magazine is totally worth it!  The subscription is $24 a year. There are 6 issues a year, so the price works out to be $4 an issue. Which isn't bad... but the best part is that each issue is chalk full of inspiration, tutorials, tips and tricks, and product reviews. Plus each issue has lots of svg file freebies included, the free files alone are worth more then the $4 you pay per issue.  Plus if you purchase a years subscription, you will have access to all the past issues and past svg file freebies. Still not sure? You can purchase just one issue, for $5, and see for yourself!

Here is one more peak, of a project, that I created for the magazine.
2-2

And... the winner is...

Thank you for a chance to win a copy of this magazine. I've been debating if I wanted to subscribe to it. Your sneak peeks look so cute!

Congrats Kris!!!!

I have already sent your info to the powers that be and you should receive and email in the next day or so.

Congrats!

See you back here on Monday, I have another fun freebie for you!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time

Happy Wednesday!

Today is 3-d Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog.
I made this cute peep's treat basket.
3-3
I filled it with my favorite Reese's Pieces Eggs. Yum!
  IMG_8341-1
I sized the basket to 7.6" wide, that makes the basket 2.75" x 5.5" tall and the bunny 4" tall. I placed a piece of clear acetate between the bunny and the bag, to create a window and so that the eggs wouldn't fall out.
2-2
Paper: Core'dinations & My Minds Eye
Clear Acetate: Office Depot
Peep Basket Svg: Treasure Box Designs
Banner Die: My Creative Time, Chocolate Greetings Stamp Set
Sentiment: My Creative Time, To My Best Peep Stamp Set
Twine: Trendy Twine
