I've had the idea for this card in my head since I ordered my MISTI. It was even coming together just the way I had envisioned in my head and then I made two mistakes. I know... Emma always say's the there are no mistakes in crafting. Well, that doesn't ever seen to apply to me. :(

Legoland

Happy Monday!!!

Today is Scrapping the Little Things Monday over on the MCT blog. I made a quick page for the boy's Legoland mini vacation last month.

I made the "lego" blocks with the 2x2 die from the 4x4 Journal Die + More set and the smallest circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies.

I think Levi's hat kinda looks like Gilligan's hat (Gilligan's Island), except for it's green and not white, but it's tweeked in all the right places. Ha!

Day 4 - MCT Sneak Peak

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is the last day of sneaks for this months MCT releases. We are sneaking the stamp set Tweet Me, the coordinating die set Fun Tweet Me Dies, and the freebie stamp called Every Little Thing...

So... I have two cards for you today. This first card was made with the freebie stamp.
I saw this technique on the MISTI fb group page and knew I wanted to try it with this new stamp. It's called "Spotlight Die Cutting" and to see how it's done, click here. I cut my flower out by hand since we do not have a die set for the Build A Pretty Flower Stamp Set. I think I convinced Emma that we need one for this set though! Fingers crossed!

This second card was made with the stamp set Tweet Me and the coordinating die set Fun Tweet Me Dies. I'm in love with these new bird dies & stamps!

Day 2 - MCT Sneak Peak

Happy Tuesday!!

Today is day 2 of sneaks for this months MCT new releases. We are sneaking the new Fun Stitched Tag Dies. I'm really excited about this new set! All of the new tags have two sizes, so they can be used together or they can be used individually too.

I used the Pretty Spring Wreaths Stamp Set and added the small bunny (die) from the All Around Holidays Stamp Set. I used two of the new label dies to create my sentiment window. I love this double cut/layered look.

Day 1 - MCT Sneak Peak

Happy Monday!!!

Today is the first day of sneaks for this months MCT new releases. We are sneaking a new die today, it's called the Circle Stitching Pattern Dies. They dies doesn't cut, but it does create a cool stitched pattern effect on your paper. I'm so excited about this new die and I have so many ideas for it.

Since St. Patrick's Day is tomorrow, I decided to make one last card. I used the shamrock die from the You're My Pot Of Gold Stamp Set. I cut off the stem and added a stamped a stem & the love bug from the Build A Pretty Flower Stamp Set.
