Happy Friday!

Today is the SVG Attic Spook-tacular Blog Hop. If you have arrived from Jessica's blog then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

I created some fun Halloween gift boxes! These boxes are the perfect size to fill with candy an other fun surprises!
The box is from the Fun Favors Box Collection.
They measure 4 3/4" long by 2" tall and 2" deep. I tired them together with some black and white twine from The Twinery.
The pumpkin face is from the Pumpkin Patch SVG Collection. Using Make-the-Cut, I welded the face to the box and then I placed a piece of black paper behind it.

The Ghost and Frankie faces are both from the Spooky Friends Collection.
I adjusted the facial features to fit the boxes.

So no blog hop would be complete with out a little blog candy.

Today is the start of an all new Peachy Keen Stamps, Let's Face it Friday Challenge!

THE CHALLENGE
Leaves are starting to fall from the trees, and it's time to get inspired! Using leaves as your inspiration or focal point, create a project showcasing your Peachy Keen Faces and the autumn leaves!

Guidelines:
Design must be new.
Project must include PKS Faces
Link up by 10/13 - 11:59 pm CDT

I made a card.
Fall is my most favorite time of year. Whenever I think of the fall, I always think of apples and leaves. One of the things we love to do each fall is go apple picking in Julian, a small town in the mountains, about 45 minutes from my house. We usually make a day of it and do a little shopping and then lunch at one of the restaurants in town too.
I used the Lettering Delights set, Feels Like Autumn Svg set. I used Make-the-Cut to weld the shapes together and then created a shadow layer around them, to form the base of the card. The papers are from DCWV and Papertrey Ink.
The apple's sweet little face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-486 In Stitches Face Assortment.

One random winner will receive:
A set of  In Stitches face assortment!

Throwback Thursday Challenge w/My Creative Time

Happy Thursday!

Today is the start of another Throwback Thursday Challenge on Emma's blog. This weeks challenge is to create a card with a "font" cart. You can use any images or fonts that are on the cart. Remember... you can only use a "Font" cart!
Here is my card!
I used the Simply Sweet Font Cart. I used the heart feature and made the base of my card, the white insert, and the red heart.
I used my white gel pen for the stitching on the front of the heart and I wrapped turquoise twine around the base of the card.

I used the Emma's stamp set called Home Sewn for the sentiment, it is embossed with white embossing ink.

For more inspiration and to see more about the challenge, click here.

Tomorrow is the start of an all new Peachy Keen Stamps, Let's Face it Friday Challenge, I can't wait to show you my project.
I hope you have a great day!

SVG Attic Design Team Project Day

Happy Wednesday!

Today is my day to design a project for SVG Attic. I thought it would be fun to use the Fun Favors set and create a favor box, full of M&M's, for fall.
I used the milk carton svg, again from the  Fun Favors set, and replaced the circle window with one of the pumpkins from the Pumpkin Patch file.
The crow, leaves, and swirls were also cut from the Pumpkin Patch file. I used a clear transparency for the window of the box. You can buy individual sheets at Kinko's, Staples, or Office Depot in their copy centers.
The twine is from The Twinery and the tag was made with Supplies from My Creative Time. I used the Scallop and Stitched Circle die's and the All Around Halloween stamp set.

Stats:
Favor box: 10 1/2" wide (keep proportions on)
Crow: 1 1/2" high (keep proportions on)
Leaf #1: 3/4" high (keep proportions on)
Leaf #2: 1/2" high (keep proportions on)
Swirls: 1 1/4" high (keep proportions on)

I also need to announce the winner for the My Creative Time new release blog hop, last weekend.

The winner is...

Sarah B!

Peachy Keen Stamps and Quick Quotes have partnered this weekend to bring you incredible creations from both of the Design Teams. The goal, is to show you how versatile the products from both of the companies, truly are!

I was sent the Quick Quotes Savvy Davvy line, to create with. I love the weight of their papers and the beautiful colors! I was also sent a Limeaide Powder Puff Chalk Ink, I can't wait to get my hands on more of these chalk inks! I LOVE THEM!!!!
I made this Birthday favor box.

It was made with the Halloween Favors svg file that I purchased from My Grafico.com. I changed the deign of the box, to get the look I wanted.
The test tubes were purchased from here.  Regular size M&M's fit in the tubes, but I liked the look of the little M&M's.
The twine from Twisted Sugar Twine, matches the Quick Quote's paper perfectly!
The sentiment stamp is from My Creative Time's set called Wow! So Many Candles!
The die is also from MCT, it is the Curly Label die. I just LOVE that Limeaide Powder Puff Chalk Ink from Quick Quotes!

That's all folks!

The wheelbarrow is from SVG Attic.com's set called Fall Harvest Favor Boxes.

My Creative Time's September Stamp Release - Sneak Peaks Day 4!

Happy Thursday!

Today is the fourth day of sneak peaks for the up coming September release for My Creative Time!
Today's peak was made with the new set called "Build a Banner Kit."
This banner kit is so versatile and who doesn't love banners?
The papers are from Papertrey Ink, K and Company, and Core'dinations.
To create the banner I used the polka dot stamp, that comes with the banner kit, and stamped it randomly, in green ink, on white paper. Then I used one of the flag dies and cut out three flags. I also used the small circle die, that comes with the kit, and cut three circles out of green pattern paper. I then used the alphabet stamps from the Any Day Crossword & Bingo set and stamped "Boo".  I used some twine from Trendy Twine to string it across the top of the card.
Are you singing that "One eyed, purple people eater" song in your head yet? :)
The little monster is a graphic that I bought from Sugar Hill Co., converted into a cuttable file in Make-the-Cut, and then cut her out. I just lub her!

My Creative Time's Septmeber Stamp Release - Sneak Peaks Day 3!

Happy Wednesday!

Today is the third day of sneak peaks for the up coming September release for My Creative Time!

Today's peak was made with the new set called "Whimsical Calendar & the XL Label die."
I made a small album for my bestie's dad. In the last year in a half, he has been blessed with 4 great-granddaughters. I thought it would be fun to create a mini album that he could take around with him to show his "girl's" off. Plus it also acts as a reminder of their birth dates.
The calendar stamp and the XL label die, made this project really fast and easy to make.
The papers are from Papertrey Ink, & Bazzil and the twine is from The Twinery. The baby on the cover, of the album, is from the Lettering Delights set called Peek-a-boo. The baby's face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-650 Just Baby Faces Assortment.
Here is a quick sneak of a "surprise" that Emma has up her sleeve!
