Glitter Technique Video

Happy Tuesday!

Last week I posted this card.
I have had several people email me and ask if I would make a video, showing how I added the glitter to my silhouette cuts. I actually learned this technique from Joy at Obsessed with Scrapbooking.

Anyhow... here is a quick video showing how I did it.

Let me know if you have any questions!

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Snow Fisherman

Happy Monday!

I have a super quick post for you today!

I found this cute snowman gift box svg and thought he would be perfect, for a Christmas gift box, for one of my favorite people.
He measures 6" and will be perfect for a gift card and some sweets.
The papers are DCWV and PaperTrey Ink.
The sentiment and the face stamp are both from Peachy Keen Stamps. I used Glossy Accents on his face to make his eye's and teeth pop a bit.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Joyuex Banner

Happy Friday!

Did you know that Kathy at Peachy Keen Stamps has started designing/selling svg files? Well, she has and her first file is free, today, with any purchase! I thought it was so cute, that I made a banner.
I know that I have said this before, but banners are so hard to photograph!
I designed my banner with Make-the-Cut and then cut it out with my Ecraft. The font is Lettering Delight's Funky Chunky. I made the shadow layer in Make-the-Cut.
The papers I used, are all DCWV. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder on the stocking.

The gingie's face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-520 Winter Faces Assortment.

Thanks for taking the time to stop by today!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thursday!

...and Happy Thanksgiving to all my US peeps! I hope you have a wonderful day filled with family, friends, fun, and food!
I made these sweet little Pilgrim boxes to place on the kids table.
They will be filled with mixed nuts and candy corn. Yum!

Both boxes were files from the Silhouette store. I thought they were so cute, I just couldn't pass them up! The paper is all DCWV and the eyes are black brads.

I am sure the kids are going to love them as much as I do!

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Everyone else, who is not in the US, I hope you have a great day!

Kiss Me!

Happy Wednesday!

If you are looking for my last Quick Quote Project, click here.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Eep! Are you ready?

I have a Valentine's card for you today... I know! Emma released two super cute Valentine's stamp sets this last Friday and oh my! Have you seen them????? So cute!
So... there you go, a Valentine's Day card.
When I saw this image in the Silhouette store, I just couldn't stand it! Isn't it the most adorable cut you have ever seen!?! (The kissing kids)  The base of the card is also a tag set that I purchased from the Silhouette store, I converted it to make the base of the card.
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, and K and Company's Valentine's stack from last year.
I ran the silhouette's through my Xyron machine, face side down, and then sprinkled black Martha Stewart glitter over the adhesive. Joy at Obsessed with Scrapbooking taught me that!

The heart and sentiment are both from My Creative Time's new set called, 100% Sweetness and Stitched Heart die.

Tomorrow is turkey day! Yum!
I hope you have a great day!

Quick Quotes Project #5

Happy Wednesday!

Today is my fifth and final project for my month as guest designer for Quick Quotes.

I made a quick card.
I used the Savvy Davvy paper line for this card. I also used the Limeade Powder Puff chalk Ink.
The card measures 4 ¼” x 4 ¼”. The scallop circle is 3 ½” and circle is 2 ¾”, both were both cut with Make-the-Cut
The stamped image is from My Creative Time’s new stamp set called All Around Accents.
I colored it in with my colored truffle in with colored pencils.  The twine is from Twisted Sugar Twine.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

If you have time, head on over to the Quick Quotes store and take a peak at all their wonderful products! They also have a blog!

Warm Holiday Wishes

Happy Tuesday!

I am starting to work on Christmas presents and that includes cards too. My goal is to use everything that I make/post on my blog. I have several large boxes full of all my paper crafts and I need to be better about "gifting" the things that I make.
So today's card is a Christmas card... but I like it so much, I am thinking that I may have to keep it. Ha! Oh well... all that counts is that I am tyring, right? :)
The base of the card is from the Best Witches Party Cut Its Set and the holly is from the Merry Stitchy Cut It's Set from Lettering Delights. The horse is a svg file that I purchased from Little Scraps of Heaven, called Rocking Horse. The horse comes with a heart on is back, I replaced it with the holly & berries to make it more festive. I used Make-the-Cut and the Silhouette to design and cut everything out.
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, DCWV, and K and Company's Yuletide Christmas stack.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's stamp set called, Mixed Holiday Sentiments.
I also used a banner die (from the build a banner kit), turned on it's side, as a tag for the sentiment.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

An Armada of Thankfulness!

Happy Monday!

So... I hate to admit it, but I am kind of freaking out that this Thursday is Thanksgiving. Seriously, when did that happen? Wasn't it just the 4th of July? Let's not even mention the fact that we are like 4 weeks from Christmas. Really? Am I the only one who feels like these holiday's just "sneak" up on me? Which in turn then makes it so hard to "enjoy" the season, because I am running around like a crazy person trying to get "ready" for the holiday that has snuck up on me. I can't be the only one... right?

I found this cut in the Silhouette online store a week or so ago. I thought it was so cute and thought it would look even cuter as place markers on the Thanksgiving Day table.
So I made 12 of them. The boats came together fairly quickly and I use Silhouette's Print-n-Cut feature to add everyone's name to the sails. Which was much, much easier then trying to hand write them. :)

The papers I used are DCWV and white card stock.
I filled them with Crunch and Munch, for today's photos. Thanksgiving day, the armada will be carrying a mixture of mixed nuts and candy corn.

Hey... have I told you lately how THANKFUL I am for you? Well, I am.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
