My Favorite Stamp of the Month Thursday!

Happy Thursday!

So a the beginning of the year, Emma started what she calls "My Favorite Stamps of the Month" Thursday. Once a month one or two of her older stamp sets are featured. What so fun about this? Well, you get to play along with us! If you own one of these sets and have made a project with it, we want to see it!

This month three sets are being featured:
My Little Fire Cracker
Fun in the Sun
Your my Best Buddy

If you have one or all of these sets and you want to play along with us and make something, please do so! If you have already made something and want to share it, that's fine too! All you have to do is head on over to My Creative Time and link up your project(s) to the Mr Linky  at the end of the blog post. (click the "Mr. Linky" above and it will take you right where you need to be!) You have two weeks to"link" up!

So... I made a magnetic photo holder.
Normally, I add ribbon at the top, so that it can be hung on the wall. This time I thought it would be fun to put magnets on the back, so that it can be attached to the refrigerator. Hopefully, it will make that special photo on the fridge "pop".

It is made with a 5 x 7 metal roofing tin. They can be purchased at Home Depot in the roofing/sheet metal section. They come in packs of 24 for $12.
The Snow White cut is a new file from Lettering Delights called, Happily Ever After.
She was cut at 3 3/4" tall. Snow's face was from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-640 Princess Face Assortment. The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Have Fun in the Sun stamp set.
The magnet was made with 4 circles, one 3/4" red circle, one 1/2" black circle, and two 1/4" back circles. I placed the black circles so that they formed Mickey's head.  Then I attached the red circle to a round 3/4" magnet, these can be purchased at Joann's, and then applied a thick layer of Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. I just have to say, I think the magnet is my favorite part of the whole thing! I just love how it turned out!

The magnets on the back are just peel and stick 1/2" wide magnet that was also purchased at Joann's.
The papers are from DoodleBug Designs and Core'dinations.

My Creative Time's 3-D Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!

Today is 3-D day on the My Creative Time blog
I made a fun little flip flop box.

Super cute, no?
The box is a free file from My Grafico! I opened it in Make-the-Cut and sized it to 5". It was fairly simple to put together and it fit together perfectly, which is not always the case with 3-d files. Huge kudo's to whomever designed it!

The papers are from K and Company's, Citronella Specialty paper pad.
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, Have Fun in the Sun stamp set. The natural colored hemp twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.

The flower on top of the flip flop is the smallest flower die from My Creative Time's Flower Petal dies. The button is from my vintage stash.

Now... I just have to find someone to gift it too! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Well Wishes...

Happy Tuesday!
I have a bright and cheery card for you today.
I got the idea for this card as soon as I saw the pocket die by My Creative Time. During release week, my dt sister Shar made a similar card, you can see it here. I love the look of the tissue in the pocket. :)

I created the base of the card with a label from the Provecial Princess svg set, from Lettering Delights . I made a shadow layer around the base shape and then took two of the shadow pieces and welded them together at the top, to form the base of the card.  Everything was designed in Make-the-Cut  and then cut out on my Ecraft.
The papers are from Paper Trey Ink and the Echo Park Hello Summer collection. The twine is from Trendy Twine.
The sentiment on the inside of the card and the pocket are both from My Creative Time's "Fun Pocket Stamp Set".
I am sending this one to a friend. I am hoping that it puts a smile on her face.

Thanks for stopping by today!
I hope you have a wonderful day!

Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day!
I thought since it was Memorial Day and the 4th of July is just a little over a month away, that it would be fun to make a few decorations for my porch/house. I made this tag wall hanging to display on my porch.

I made the tag with my paper trimmer and an exacto knife. It measures 4" x 7.5". The rosette was made with pages from a old book, that I found at Goodwill. The rosette is 4 1/2". If you would like to know how it is made, click here. The hemp twine at the top is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.
The star is from the Make-the-Cut free shape library, it was sized to 4 1/4" and the number 4 is the Benguiat BK BT font and was sized at 3 1/4".
The sentiment is from My Creative Time's, My Little Firecracker stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
I hope you have a wonderful day and for all my US peeps, I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day!

Simply the Best

Happy Tuesday!

I have another quick card for you today.

This card could be used for Father's Day or even just as a Thank You card. I thought I would try making a "man" card with brighter colors, not just the traditional browns, greens, and blues. I really like how it turned out!
The card measures 4" x 5.5". The stripe pieces measures 1.5" x 5.5", the solid orange pieces is 3.5" x 1.75", and the polka dot piece is 1"x 2". The tag is from My Creative Time's Tag Dies.

The card measures 3.5" x 3.5". The inset polka dot piece measures 3.25" x 3.25". The pocket is from My Creative Time's, Fun Pockets stamp and die set. The banner, that the sentiment is stamped on, measures 3.5" x 3/4". The flowers are a sticker from Jolee's.

Happy Friday!

Welcome to My Creative Time's May release blog hop! If you have arrived here from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track, if you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

I made another boy themed birthday card.
The dump truck is from My Scrap Chick's, CAUTION! Dirt Digging Ahead collection. The card measure's 6" x 3.25". The truck was cut at 2.5" tall.
The papers are from PaperTrey Ink, Core'dinations, and My Minds Eye's Twisted Lime Collection.
For the banner I used the new Tag Dies. I cut it so that it was only 2.5" tall and then stamped it with a sentiment from the new Celebrate Good Time's stamp set. The green hemp twine is from Liz's Paper Loft Boutique.
I think the little birthday boy will love it.
