Inspire Me

Happy Wednesday!!!
Today is inspire me day on the MCT blog. I have two cards to share, this 1st card was inspired by this card. I love the background, so I thought I would try making something similar. I used Distress inks, water, and the Hexy Background Stamp Set. The sentiment is from the You're My Lucky Charm set and the clover is from the You're My Pot of Gold Stamp Set - REVISED.

My second card was inspired by this card. I really like the design/layout of the card, so I kept mine pretty close to the original. I changed up the theme to birthday by using the Let's Party Word Dies and the Sweet Wishes Stamp & Die Set.

My Creative Time 55th Edition Release Blog Hop

Happy Friday!!!

Today's card was made with the new Greatest Handyman Set and the Circle Balloon Dies. I thought it would be fun to make a large balloon shaped card with the largest balloon die. I stamped the tool stamps to create a pattern on the kraft paper. The gift card was placed in the Tag Gift Pocket Die that I stamped it with the Stripey Background II Stamp and a sentiment from the Greatest Handyman Set. I attached it to the front of the card and then tied on a small pieces of twine for fun.

My Creative Time May Release - Day 3

Happy Wednesday!!!

Today is the third day of sneaks for My Creative Time May releases. Today we are featuring the new stamp and die set called "Make a Wish". This is the cutest stamp and die set!

I made a birthday card with one of the new candle dies and new sentiment. I used the Circle Stitched Pattern Dies to create the patterned background and the largest Trio Stitched Banner Die for the sentiment.

My Creative Time May Release - Day 2

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is the second day of sneaks for My Creative Time May releases. Today we are featuring and a new stamp and die set called "Shine Like the Stars". This is another set that I am pretty sure is going to be on heavy rotation on my craft desk.

I have been wanting to try making a night/sky/universe background card for the longest time. I've watched quiet a few how to videos and there are lots of different ways/techniques to make one. I ended up using my cheap watercolors to make this background. I really love how it turned out and this new stamp/die set work perfectly with it.

My Creative Time May Release - Day 1

Happy Monday!!!

Today is the first day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time May releases. The first stamp and die set that we are sneaking is called "Greatest Handyman". This is stamp set and perfect for Father's Day and all those "handymen" in your life.

My goal was for my main paper to look like a man's flannel shirt. I used the Mad for Plaid stamp set to make the plaid design (Love this set!).  I was so happy that tools in this new stamp/die set are the perfect size for the pocket in the Fun Pockets Stamp Set.
