Scrapping the Little Things

I made a card with the new "Way to Go" stamp & die set.

I think this set is darling! The bike die has lots of possibilities and I love all the sentiments that come with this set too. I had to mask the sentiment I used, to change it up a bit, so I could get it to fit on the label die. I also used the basket die from the Hello Chickie! stamp set, for the basket on the bike rack, I did cut it down a bit to get it to fit.

Day 4 Sneaks, My Creative Time April Release!

Happy Thursday!!!

Today is day 4 of sneaks for this months My Creative Time's April releases. WOW! What a fun release this has been! We are showcasing the "Springtime in Paris" and the "And Then Some" stamp and die sets today. I made two projects.
1-1
The first is a fun gift card envelope. I used the Scallop Stitched Envelope Die, it's the perfect size for a gift card. I also used the new the new Eiffel tower die and a sentiment stamp from the new "Springtime in Paris" stamp and die set.

The second is a simple card, I used the new "And Then Some" stamp and die set. I'm in love with this large "&" die! I can't wait to make some journaling cards with this new set.

Lots of Love

Happy Saturday!!!

 Today is my dt day over on the Timeless Twine blog. I was asked to share a "technique" for today's project. A week or so ago I found this fun technique called "Ghost Stamping". I have been having a lot of fun using it, so I thought I would share it with you today.

So all you do is, stamp your image with white ink and then stamp the same image in a color, over top, but slightly offset from the white image. I love the look of this and can see myself using it a lot more in the future.  To see more examples, search "ghost stamping" on YouTube or Pinterest.

Try Me Tuesday!

Happy Tuesday!!!

 Today is Try me Tuesday over on the My Creative Time blog. We are doing a technique called "ghost" stamping.  So all you do is, stamp your image with white ink and then stamp the same image in a color, over top, but slightly offset from the white image.  It's a cool technique.

Since I have been doing a lot more scrapbooking lately, I thought I would make some journaling cards.

I took the basketball journaling cards and made a layout for my oldest nephew. This is his senior year in high school and he just finished up basketball. So I thought I would showcase his accomplishments.

 Today is Tag it Tuesday on the My Creative Time blog. I had a client ask me to make her some Easter M&M treats.

Bunny Bags

Happy Friday!!!

 Hey there! So today is my dt day over on the Timeless Twine blog. I saw these super cute bunny bags on Pinterest, a week or so back.  I needed some quick and easy treats for client, so I thought I would try making them.

I used the Small White Kraft Bags and the Raspberry Lemonade from the store. I had some pink tissue paper, so I used that for inside the ears and I also added a small tag with a sentiment. They're filled with chocolate eggs.

Whatever Wednesday!

Happy Wednesday!!!

 Today is "whatever" Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog. I had this idea, for Easter/spring decor, in my head last year when the To My Best Peep Stamp Set came out. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and never got it made. Then last week I saw this on Pinterest and realized if I didn't make it, I would run out of time again.

I love how it turned out and may make another one for a friend. It came together pretty quickly, once I decided on my papers. I added the ribbon around the edge of the frame just to add a bit more color.
