Sweet Little Monster

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I cannot believe how quickly it flew by, which means that there are a TON of things that I need to get done this week. I have been fighting a cold for the last week or so and I really haven't felt much like being crafty. I did spend some time yesterday afternoon completing some projects that are due this week.

Here is a quick card that I made with some pieces of paper and ribbon from my scrap box. I had cut the monster out several weeks ago and she has been propped up on my inspiration board wait'n on me to find some inspiration.  

I just love the K and Company Spok*tacular paper stack. The papers and embellishments  are just so much fun!

The Pk stamp I used was from the Monster Mash Face Assortment .

Isn't she sweet?

"Let's Face it Friday" Challenge #1

Happy Friday!

I am so excited! Today is not just any normal Friday... it's Peachy Keen Stamps, very 1st "Let's Face it Friday" challenge!

This first challenge was to create a treat container used for Halloween (or Harvest/Autumn theme) using any of your PK Face Stamps as the focal point of your project.

So... this is what I came up with!

 I made this small treat container out of a piece of 12 x12 black card stock and this Martha Stewart deep edge punch. The "trick or treater's" were cut from the Mini Monsters cart at 

3 1/2". I also used the Doodlecharms cart for the pumpkins and treat bags,  the bat and the spider were cut from the Happy Hauntings cart. The PK stamp sets I used were, the PK-490 Everyday Character Face Assortment and the PK-640 Princess Face Assortment.

Cricut Cardz Challenege #42

Happy Wednesday!

This is my card for this weeks challenge on the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog.  The challenge was to create a card for Halloween using the "card" feature from any cartridge.

This is my card!

This pumpkin has to be the cutest pumpkin ever!


I used the Mini Monsters cart to cut the pumpkin. I cut him at 5", so that I could use a A2 size envelope. The papers are DCWV and I inked around everything with coordinating inks.

I think it was the fastest Cricut card I ever made!

Halloween Challenge!

Happy Friday! 

I am soooo ready for the weekend! I have a ton of stuff going on... like helping design/plan a wedding/reception, at the very last minute! How the heck do I get myself into these things? I am still hoping though, that I will be able to fit in some creative "me" time. I have some yummy new paper, ribbon, Peachy Keen stamps, and Cricut carts that I want to break in. Wish me luck!

So on to today's card, I made it for the Halloween Challenge on Mary's blog, Cardz TV. 

The card measures 4 /14" x 5 1/2". The solid cardstock is DCWV, the stripe paper is from the K and Co Spook Takular collection, and the polka dot, my favorite, is from Doodlebug Designs. The ribbon is 5/8" grosgrain that I purchased at Michael's and the edge punch is from Fiskars. Last but not least... the little spook was cut from the Mini Monster's cart at 4".
