Heidi asked us to create cards, scrapbook pages and altered items all created around the theme of wedding, romance and royalty!

I created a card.

The card base is from the Lacey Labels cart and the love birds are from the Sweethearts cart.

The papers are from Papertery Ink, DCWV Mad Love stack, and Core-dinations.

Aren't they the sweetest little love birds?

The sentiment is from Emma's, You Had Me at Chocolate stamp set.

So no blog hop would be complete with out some sort of blog candy!

Design Team Thursday #2 ~ Joy's Life

Happy Thursday!

Today is the 2nd Thursday of Joy's Life.com's, Design Team Thursday!

This is my card for this week.

The card measures 5 1/2 x5 1/2. The paper is DCWV and K and Co Valentine's paper.

The dog was cut from the Sweethearts cart at 3 1/2". The tags were cut from the Lacy Labels cart at 4.5" and 5". The back and white twine is from Paper and Parcel.

Last but certainly not least the sentiment stamp is from Joyslife.com's stamp set, Mother and Daughter stamps.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #30

This is my card for this weeks Cricut Cardz Challenge. I used the Sweethearts and Storybook Cricut carts. 

The papers I used were from the DCWV "All about Girl's" designer paper and card stock stacks. (LOVE those stacks btw) The card measures 6 x 4 1/4. The top note shape was cut from the Storybook cart at 3 3/4". The birds and heart were cut from the Sweethearts cart at 2". The bird only faces in one direction so after you cut the 1st bird, then use the "flip" button and cut the second one. Then you will have the two love birds facing each other. The string is blue and white bakers twine. I inked around all the edges with coordinating inks.

The sentiment piece on the inside of the card was cut at 5 1/2" x 3 3/4". The top note shapes were again, cut from the Storybook cart at 3 1/4" and 2 3/4". I inked around all the edges with coordinating inks. See the video below for more information.
