MCT Mini Release Blog Hop

GOOD MORNING! Today we are having a special “Mini Release” for you! We are releasing 2 new products. One is a new die set called “ETCHED EDGE FRAME DIES” and the other is a new stamp and die set called “HEARTS & FLOWERS”. 

I used the floral stamps from the new Hearts & Flowers set to create a background on kraft paper. I stamped them randomly, then fussy cut some out of the red paper, and placed then on top. I used one of the Etched Edge Framed Dies to frame it.

My Creative Time April 2019 Release Week - Day 2

Today is the second day of sneaks for this months My Creative Time new releases. Today's sneaked product is a background die called "Zig Zag Background".

I made a thank you card with the new background die and one of the new "Strip Sentiment Dies" that was sneaked yesterday. The "Thanks" and sentiment are both from the "Fun Notes" set.

Made in Minutes

Happy Monday!!!

Today is "Made in Minutes" day on the MCT blog. I needed a quick "Thank You" card, so I used two of the newest stamp/die sets that were just released. The You're Sew Special set and the Thanks Sew Much set. I also used the Scalloped Stitched Rectangular Dies for the card base.

Today is "Too Die For Tuesday" on the My Creative Time blog. The goal was to “stretch” our dies and come up with unique ways to use them. I used the "thanks" die from the Mini Greeting Dies and created the background on the frame die from the Thank You & Frame Dies. The label is from the Sentiment Label Dies and the large "Thanks" is from the Thank You & Frame Dies set. I layered 4 of them together to make it "pop".

Happy Tuesday!!!!

Today is stamp of the month "redux" on the My Creative Time blog. This month's stamp of the month is the Springtime In Paris Stamp Set. I used this tag as my "redux" inspiration.

I stamped the yellow/heart back ground paper with the flourish swirl stamp from the set and heat embossed it with clear matte embossing powder. This helps change up the paper and add a bit more interest. The Eiffel Tower is embossed with silver pearl embossing powder, it has a pretty shimmery look to it . The flowers and leaves are stamped with  patterns from Build a Banner Kit and the Pretty Spring Wreaths Stamp Set with coordinating ink, this helps add some texture. Lastly, I added the 4mm clear sequins for a little sparkle.

"Let's Face it Friday" Challenge #7

Happy Friday!

I am so excited because today is the 1st "Let's Face it Friday" challenge of the new year. Challenge #7 is to create a Thank You card. You can design any type of card that you want, you just have to make sure that you use a Peachy Keen face stamp.

Here is my card.

I cut the hedge hog from the Live Simply cart, she was cut at 2 1/2".

The papers are Coordination's and Basic Grey's, Urban Prairie collection.

 The ribbon was purchased from Michael's and the sentiment stamp is from Joyslife.com's new stamp set Father and Son Stamps.

Her face stamp is from the PK-754 Medium Critter Faces Set.
