Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is Tag it Tuesday on the My Creative Time blog. I made some cute Easter tags with a few of the new Easter products.

The body of the tags were made with the smallest Scalloped Egg Dies and the next size down die. The rabbit is from the Mini Bunny Dies and the chick is from the older Hello Chickie! Stamp Set.The sentiment is from the Teeny Tag Holidays set. I made holes with my Crop-o-dial and the twine is from Timeless Twine.

Cook and Craft

Happy Monday!!!

Today is "Cook and Craft" day on the My Creative Time blog. I normally craft on the weekend and usually in the afternoons, so I need something quick and easy for lunch. The recipe that I am sharing today is one that my mom always made on Sunday afternoons, after church, while watching whatever sport was on tv. She would also make it for all the family/friend b-day parties/get together's and it was always a hit.

This is not the healthiest dip, but it sure is yummy and super easy to make.  All the ingredients are layered and then cooked until warm and bubbly!

   

The first picture is when it's ready for the oven and the second is what it looks like after it has cooked for 15-20 minutes.

A super sweet friend gifted me a few of these darling little tins. I thought it would be fun to use them to make some Easter treats for the kids on Easter Sunday. I filled them with some green paper grass and M & M's and then used some of the new MCT dies and stamps to dress them up a bit.

Whatever Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!!!

Troll hair, don't care.... that's what I like to say anyway. Ha! I saw the idea for these darling headbands on Pinterest. There is a great tutorial showing how to make them here. I thought they would be fun to make for a friends daughters birthday party. So I ran to Hobby Lobby and WalMart and got everything I needed.

They are fairly easy to make. The tutorial linked above shows how to hand cut flowers, but I though I would use the MCT Rolled Flower Dies. I'm all about quick and easy and these dies made it just that. I also used the Stitched Pretty Flowers & Leaves Dies to cut some leaves. I used hot glue to attach the flowers and leaves to the headbands, you probably could also use E6000 but it will take awhile to dry. If you have been reading this blog for awhile you know I am all about instant gratification. (wink, wink)

I love how they turned out and so did all the girls.

Made in Minutes

Happy Monday!!!

Today on the My Creative Time blog we are featuring projects that are made in minutes. I used the  Scalloped Egg Dies to create a shaped card. I used the label die from the Vintage Stitched Label Dies and a sentiment from the To My Best Peep REVISED. It came together really quickly. I love these new Scalloped Egg Dies.

National Corn Dog Day

Happy Tuesday!!!

Today is Crazy Holiday day on the My Creative Time blog. I decided to make a card for "National Corn Dog Day". 

National Corn Dog Day is a celebration concerning basketball, the corn dog, Tater Tots, and American beer that occurs in March of every year on the first Saturday of the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship. (Wikipedia) This year National Corn Dog day is March 18th. 

Although I am not a huge fan of basketball, I am a fan of corn dogs... so this was a day I could get behind. HA! I made this fun card to send a friend.
