********************************************************************

...So... let's get on to the new Let's Face it Friday challenge, shall we?

The Challenge:
Create a project using your PKS Faces and fabric. Create Fabric Flowers, use scraps to layer, ruffle or pleat, or use in your die cuts for some fun texture!
I created a door knob hanger, that holds a small gift. The box is the perfect size for a jar of nail polish and a gift card for a pedicure or movie tickets and two bags of candy.
I used the December Door Hangers svg kit from SVG Cuts.com.
The papers are from DCWV's new stack called Jolly Holiday. His scarf is a piece of red fabric that I found in my stash. I just tied it in a knot and snipped the ends so that it looked like fringe.
The snowman's face is from Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-480 Christmas Character Face Assortment and the "Merry Christmas" sentiment is from the new PKS-15 Oh by Golly! sentiment set. If you haven't seen this new sentiment stamp set, you need to check it out! It is loaded with a ton of great sentiments.

Guidelines:
 Design must be new
Project must include PKS Faces
Link up by 12/22- 11:59 pm CDT

PRIZE: Will be determined.

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 8

 Happy Thursday!

Today is day 8 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

I made a Mani/Pedi gift set.

How cute would this be to sit on a co-workers desk?

The small box is holding a foot file, 2 toe dividers, massage roller, and a jar of polish.
I used My Creative Time's, Curly Label Die and the Gift Card Sentiments stamp set to make the tag.

Here is the video that gave me the idea for this project. I adjusted the size of my box to make it work with the bottle of finger nail polish remover, but it shows how it is put together.

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 7

Happy Wednesday!

Today is day 7 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

Today's project is: Santa's Magic Key!
So you know the question comes up more often then not... "If we don't have a fireplace, how can Santa leave the presents?" Well, your problem is solved! All you need is Santa's magic key!
I typed the poem and printed it out on white card stock. I cut it out with My Creative Time's XL Label Die and stamped the boarder with the boarder stamp from the Whimsical Calendar Days Set. I hand cut the red shadow layer. The key is from Tim Holtz's Idea-ology "Word Key's", found at Michael's. You could also use a really old skeleton key... if you can find one.
The font is from Lettering Delights, it is LDJ Christmas Troll.

The poem reads:

Dear Santa,
This magic key works just
for you,  please open the door and
come on through.  Thank you for
coming to our house tonight.  We are
celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.
Thank you Santa for the gifts you bring.
Thank you Lord for everything!

Here is what it looks like hanging on a door knob! Now Santa has no excuses not to show up on Christmas Eve!

As cute as this is... I can't take credit for it. I found this idea last year, around Christmas time, on Flikr and saved the poem. Unfortunately, I can't find the original link/picture.

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 6

 Happy Tuesday!

Today is day 6 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

Today's project is a gift for my fur babies.
I found the bowls at the $1 store. They are a heavy duty glass bowls and I figured they would be perfect for the dogs. I used Make-the-Cut to design their names and my Ecraft to cut them out of Vinyl. The font is LDJ Flirt from Lettering Delights. Then used glass etching cream to etch their names on the glass.

Didn't they turn out so cute! I am going to make a couple more for their dogie friends. :)
I filled the bowls with small bags of dog treats, tied them with ribbon, and attached a tag.
stamps for the tag.

Here is a quick photo tutorial showing the steps!
Clear glass bowls.
Attach the vinyl to the bowl.
Add the glass etching cream and let the bowl sit for 5 minutes. Then wash off the cream, pull off the vinyl, wash again, and...
End result... super cute bowls!

Tacky Tuesday's Challenege #13

Happy Monday night!

If you are looking for My Creative Time's, 12 days of Christmas (day 5), Click here.

Tomorrow is the start of a all new Tacky Tuesday Challenge!

I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who played along with us last month! I love seeing all the cards and projects that everyone makes. The random winner of last months challenge is Cindy Marshall! Congrats Cindy!

So, lets get on to this months challenge shall we? This months cut is a "snowman" and you must use the word "melt" in your sentiment.

Here is my card.
I used two files from Lettering Delights to make my card. The snowman is from the Holiday Lights Cut-it Set the card base is from the No Place Like Home Frames Set.

I printed the "I Melt" on my printer and then cut it out with one of the banner dies from My Creative Time's, Build a Banner Kit.
Isn't he the cutest?

Delia was a guest designer this month.
Isn't her snow globe card ADORABLE!?!

My design team did a fabulous job too!

I want to say a huge Thank You to Delia for being a guest designer this month and to my four fabulous design team girls! They all did an amazing job!

One last thing...
After much debate, I have decided that I am no longer going to host Tacky Tuesday's Challenges. :( I am just so overcommitment, that I need to take some things off my list. Unfortunately, Tacky Tuesday's needs to be one of those things. I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has played along with the challenges! I will miss seeing all of your monthly projects.
Remember this is the last month of challenges. I hope you will play along with us! Click here to join in the fun! You have until December 20th to submit a project.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 5

Happy Monday!

Today is day 5 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

Today's project is another simple ornament.
I found the wooden "O" at Joann's for $1. I covered it with some K and Company Christmas paper and sanded the edges. I really like giving personalized gifts and initials are a fun way to do just that!
I used My Creative Time's Curly Label die, the Inspiring Words and Inspiring Words Accents stamps to create the tag.
Here is a view of the back. I covered it with paper too, so that it would have a finished look. I will add my "made by" stamp, sign, and date it prior to giving it away.

Happy Sunday!

Today is day 4 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

Today's project is a small stocking stuffer.
 It holds 4 Emory boards.
The paper is DCWV. I used the snowflake embossing plate for the bottom section. I sanded it and then inked it with silver ink. The button is a vintage one from my stash and the twine is from The Twinery.
I used My Creative Time'sXL Label Die, All Around Christmas and XL Label Borders stamps.

I found this super cute idea on Pinterest, here is the tutorial showing how it's made.

My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas - Day 3

Happy Saturday!

Today is day 3 of My Creative Time's 12 Days of Christmas!

If you have arrived from Rosy's blog, then you are on the right track. If you would like to start at the beginning, click here.

Today's project is an ornament.
Ornaments are always a fun gift to give. I have a friend who makes a unique ornament each year, to give to her friends and family. She makes close to 120 ornaments every year! (Because she is awesome and everyone wants one!) She has been making/giving ornaments for over 20 years now. I have a small tree just for her ornaments, I LOVE getting them!
Anyhow... back to my ornament.
I used an old wooden thread spool as the base. The one I used is vintage, but I think you can find new ones at Michael's. To spruce it up, I  added some holiday paper, buttons, and twine.  I was thinking it would be really cute with christmas fabric wrapped around it too!

I used My Creative Time's, Mixed Holiday Sentiments and Build a Banner Kit to make the tag.
How cute is this going to look on a package? I think I need to make a few more!
