Happy Wednesday!!!
Today is Inspire Me day on the MCT blog. My card for today is inspired by this card by Kristina Werner. Last week Z and I were watching YouTube videos and he saw her "Smiley" card and wanted to watch the video, so we did. He has a thing for "Smilies". So I thought I would try and make him a smiley card with MCT products, for his first day of school.
To get the circles, I used the smallest circle from the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies, cut it out of fun foam, and created my own stamp. Then I used one of the face stamps from the You Make Life Sweet Stamp & Die Set. The sentiment is from the Write On Stamp Set, I masked it off with post-it tape, so that I could use the two different color inks. Similar to what Kristina did in her video. I used the largest oval from the Scalloped Stitched Oval Dies to get the shape on the bottom.

ReplyDeleteCute card! Love all of the smiley faces!
ReplyDeleteYour card is adorable and Z will love it...sure it will make him smile. Kristina had a cute card but I like your take on it. Great idea to use the oval for the curve and make your own circle stamp with foam. I love how your card came out.
