The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Birthday Ball Blog Hop!

Welcome to the The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Birthday Ball Blog Hop!
Are you ready to have some royal fun!?!

First off, I want to wish the Queen a very royal Birthday!
If you have arrived from Alex's fabulous blog, then you are on the right track! If you want to start at the beginning click here!
The Queen had one royal wish... she wanted a banner and since I am very fond of my head, I decided that it might be a good idea, to grant her wish. :)
Banners are so hard to take photos of. :(
I used the Birthday Bash cart for the flags and the letters. The crown is from the Sentimentals cart.

The papers are all from the DVWV "Black Currant" stack.
I used 6" black tulle to string it together.
I hope she likes it!
So no blog hop would be complete with out some sort of blog candy!
I am giving away a set of Peachy Keen Stamps, PK-441 Cute and Cuddly 1 1/8".

All you have to do to be entered to win is:
1. Become a follower, if not already.

Black Eyed Susans

Happy Wednesday!

I can't believe that we are already half way thru the week!

I have been really busy, the last month or so, trying to get a laundry list of things done around my house. I guess you could say I have been "spring cleaning". It feels really good to get things cleaned out and re-organized.

Next up, is my scrapbook stuff... wish me luck!

This card has been on my Gypsy for awhile now and since I am in the mood for spring, I figured it was a good time to make it.
The top-note shape is a tag from the Sentimentals cart. I welded two of them together to form the base of the card. It was cut at 5.25" and the inset was cut at 4.75".
The vase of flowers is from the Country Living cart. It was cut at 4".
The twine is from here and the stamp is from here.

I have chosen three winners for the three giveaways/blog hops that I was in last week. I have already contacted them but I will post the names tomorrow, along with a new project for Joyslife.com. Have you seen her new stamps yet? You can see them here.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
See you tomorrow!

Cricut Cradz Challenge #50 and Blog Hop Reminder

Happy Wednesday!

This is my card for the Cricut Cardz Challenge blog. The challenge for this week is to create a card for Christmas, using a card feature from any cart.

I just realized that my card really isn't a Christmas card but more of a "winter" card.
Oh well... you've have day's like that to, right?
The card was cut from the Sentimentals cart at 10" and the hat (3") and mittens (2") were cut from the Simply Charmed cart.
I used the new "Snow Cuties" Peachy Keen stamps for the faces. The pink and white twine was purchased from The Twinery.com.
Now head on over to the Cricut Cradz Challenge blog...there's a ton more inspiration just waiting to be soaked up! I can't wait to see what you create!

Don't forget tomorrow is my "Sneak Peak" for Peachy Keens Winter Release Party. Friday is the blog hop party at 8pm, it starts here.

Then on Saturday I will be in the So Many Mini Albums Blog Hop!

Both hops will have lots of inspiration and lots of blog candy!

I hope you have a wonderful day!
See you tomorrow!

Lots of Pun! - Snail Mail Card

That's what I have been having with the new "Lots of Pun" stamp set by Joy's Life. You can purchase the set here.  A couple weeks ago Joy invited me to be one of her featured designer's to showcase her new stamp set. The card below is my first creation!
 Here is the recipe:

Card Measures 5.5 x 4.5 inches
Cricut Carts used - Create a Critter and Sentimentals
Designer Paper - DCWV Summer Dreams Stack
Card Stock - DCWV Summer Dreams Stack
Sentiment Stamp- Lots of Pun

The card was cut from the Sentimentals Cart - Page 51, Cut the stamp at 5.5 then flip the image and cut it again, so you have two. This is going to be the card base. If you have design studio or a Gypsy you can weld it together to form the card. If not cut 1/4" stripes of paper and glue them to the top to make the card. *See my video for a better explanation.*
The front blue piece was also cut from page 51 and cut at 5.5 inches. The snail was cut from the Create a Critter cart, page 67, and it was cut at 2.25 inches. The "Lot's of Pun" sentiment was stamped to a piece of paper that measures .75 x 1.25 inches.

The card stock for the inside of the card was cut at 3.5 x 4.5, 3 x 4, and 2.5 x 3.5. The mail box was cut from Create a Critter, page 67, cut at 1.5"

Everything was inked on the edges and the snail, sentiment, and mailbox were applied with foam tape to add dimension.

Happy Srap'n!
