Happy Thursday!!!
Today is "Do Over" day on the MCT blog. I posted this card on Monday. I really like how it turned out, but I got a few other ideas after I had made it, so I decided to use it as my "do over" card today.
I used the white linen card stock from Papertrey Ink. I love the look of it and need to use it more. I use the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies & More for the base pieces, just like on Monday's card. I used the same sentiment from the Hello Baby Stamp Set, but I used some Ranger Silver Pearl embossing powder instead. It has a gorgeous simmer to it, plus I just love silver! I cut out the same flowers and leaves, but I stamped them with some matching ink and background stamps. I think it really helps to add a bit more interest and texture. I also washed them with some Wink of Stella so they are really glittery. You can't tell from the photos but they really sparkle. I also added a few more flowers and changed where I placed them on the card
This would make a beautiful wedding or anniversary card as well, if it had an appropriate sentiment.
