Welcome to the Banner Blog Hop!
If you have come here from Yolie's blog then your are on the right track! If you want to start a the beginning of the hop, head on over to Alex's blog.
I have been a bit obsessed with banners lately and I thought it would be fun to organize a banner blog hop. So as you have probably figured out by now, I asked each of the ladies to create a banner for one of the upcoming holiday's; Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Years.
After much debate, on my part, I choose to make a Christmas themed banner.
The Banner flags were cut from the "Birthday Bash" Cricut cart. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE that cart? Well.... I LOVE it! The ovals were cut with the help of Make-the-Cut, they measure 3 1/2" and the shadow measures 3 3/4". The letters were cut from the "Country Life"Cricut cart, they were cut at 2 1/2".
The paper is K & Company's Yuletide Collection, Bazzil card stock, and Papertrey Ink kraft card stock. I used Martha Stewart micro beads, color Garnet, on the letters and the white tulle is from Michael's.
The Santa and Child silhouette was cut from the "A Child's Year" cart at 2 1/2". The second image was "flipped" so that it was cut in the opposite direction. All of the edges of the paper was sanded, so that it would have a distressed look.
I love how it turned out!
So what kind of blog hop would this be without blog candy?
I am giving away a set of Peachy Keen Princess Face Stamps!
